The new owners of Kwik Keys was a cooperation called Bernice which wanted to close down Kwik Keys. Thelma then discovered she owned ten shares of Bernice stock and she found more stock holders of Bernice and held a stock holders meeting which saved Kwik Keys and Vint's job.

Thelma and Iola shared a flower bed for their roses they were each going to enter into the Crystal Thorn Flower Contest. But somehow one of the roses cross pollinated and created a whole new flower. The head of the Crystal Thorn Flower Contest said it could win and both Thelma and Iola claimed ownership.

When Mayjune Beasley arrived to officially judge the rose was gone. Mayjune left and Thelma and Iola discovered Naomi was wearing it in her hair as a gift from Vint.

Thelma slipped on a roll of pennies at the bank and the family wanted to get millions. They hired a sleazy lawyer called Settlement Sam who had her fake injuries to get what they wanted. Eventually Thelma couldn't stand the faking of her injuries and told the truth.

Thelma was sent a real live goose for Christmas dinner but she didn't have the heart to kill him. Vint, Naomi, Bubba and Iola were determined not to eat the goose as they left before Thelma's change of heart. She lifted the cover off the main course and the "goose" was made from stuffing and vegetables.

Thelma was in the midst of her old time detective movie marathon when Mrs. Boylen went missing. Turns out she followed the ice cream truck and was with it the whole time.

Bubba was working on a photography project for school and he took pictures of Thelma, Iola, Vint and Naomi. But what the girls didn't know Bubba had a bikini clad girl he took photos of too. As a joke he put Thelma's head on the bikini clad girl. But this photo accidentally went on invitations to get elderly men to attend a church dance.

He won a tenth place price which was dinner for two to Abdul's Garden of Eating. The problem was, who to take? The woman who bore him or the woman bearing his child? He gave each Naomi and Thelma a ticket telling each of them to meet him there. Vint snuck into the restaurant handing Abdul a letter to be given to the Harper table.

Thelma and Naomi tore the letter trying to get it. Hearing Vint's words in writing like, "How could he chose between the two women who matter the most to me." Thelma and Naomi took the dinner home and shared with everyone at home.

Vint wearing a fake pregnancy belly to understand what a pregnant woman has to go through had a work emergency and couldn't go. The girls looked at Bubba who took his school books and ran out of the house. Thelma had no choice but to miss the Bingo Bonanza and her take on Lamaze breathing was the funniest scene I ever saw.

Thelma wanted nothing more than to be a Dame and invited three of the members to her house for an alfresco barbeque. When they arrived she said she planned a little something out of the ordinary. A Dame said, "Then it mustn't be chicken wings." As they have been served nothing but wings lately.

After they called the Harpers low class she kicked them off her property before grilling the wings for her and Iola.

After Thelma helped to deliver the baby Vint offered to name the baby after her.
Vint: "I know we'll call the baby Thelma."
Naomi: "But I had my heart set on calling her Tiffany."
Vint: "I know we'll call her Tiffany Thelma."
Naomi: "Oh. Well no one will use her middle name anyway."
Thelma: "I will."
