1. "Ladies Choice": Thelma campaigned to be President of the CLL. Who ended up being President of the Church Ladies League?

Answer: Lolly Purdue

Due to term limits Thelma's time as President of the Church Ladies League "CLL" was up. So, she practically had to forced Iola to adopt a change. That change being no term limits. Alberta Meechum nominated Iola Boylen for President of the CLL. At the debate both Thelma and Iola got into a verbal fight, so bad Lolly Purdue was nominated and won the Presidency of the CLL.
2. "Naomi's New Position": What position was Naomi pushing for herself?

Answer: Assistant Manager

She dressed in a nice yellow dress when she went to the manager, Mr. Archie Woods. He offered her the position only if she slept with him, and if she didn't he'd fire her. Well, with Thelma's help she got the position and Mr. Archie Woods was transferred out.

Answer: Short circuit every so often

Thelma talked about "kids these days", Naomi was brushing her doll's hair talking about a dog she liked, and Iola was talking about Eunice and Ellen's dolls' condition. The short circuit caused everyone to think Thelma was at fault for her children's way of life, Naomi at letting a man into her bedroom as a child, and Iola making everyone think Eunice and Ellen were unkempt and disheveled looking.

She bopped it with her purse and suddenly the machine spat out $800. She ended up going back to the bank where she found the true owner of the $800, and after a mean bank employee made her views known Thelma, gave the $800 to the man.

Bubba wanted to go to Oswald Caverns but it cost $200 and Thelma didn't have the money to do it. Plus, a ghost of her mother caused her to say no. Vint and Naomi came back with the broach saying it was nothing but garnets and glass and only worth $200.

Thelma finally confronted her mother over everything: driving, pants and the broach. She had Vint and Naomi sell the broach and gave the money to Bubba. She closed the episode by telling Iola, "We are going to buy me my first pair of designer jeans."
6. "What a Dump": Where did James A. Ray die?

Bubba did research on how Raytown's founder James A. Ray died and he found out he died in a house of ill repute.
Bubba: "I think it was famous. Ma Bodine's 1 Old Decatur Road." Thelma discovered the deed to her house said 1 Old Decatur Road before the street's name was changed. The Mayor had no other choice but to declare the place a historical landmark. Everyone was angry as they were out $30,000 a piece for their houses.

The Harpers got an answering machine and through a series of misinterpretations Thelma thought they were trying to get rid of her. After seeing the dog, Thelma said they were keeping the dog even though she was never seen after this episode.
