A driver in a Mercedes hits Bud while he is driving in front of the Bundy house. Even though the driver hit Bud, the driver is suing Al (because it is his car) for damages. Marcy witnesses the accident and states that Bud was not at fault and she testifies to that in court, reluctantly taking the Bundys' side.

Al has cost the New Market Mallers softball team several games recently. However, Al thinks he is not at fault. The rest of the team does and tries to replace him with Sven, a Swedish hunk. The decision has to be unanimous and Peggy and the rest of the team have to convince Kelly and Bud to dump Al for Sven. Meanwhile, Al aggressively tries to keep his position on the team by appealing to his kids.

Peggy grows frustrated that Al never takes her dancing so she goes out to a singles club with Marcy. There, Peggy meets a man named Andy and the two begin dancing, despite him thinking her name is Lola. Al receives a visit from a man named Pete who is Andy's husband. Pete fears he is losing Andy to Peggy. Al is in no hurry to stop Andy and Peggy because Pete cooks for Al and Al fears he will stop if Andy and Pete are reunited.

Kelly develops a sexy modeling technique called the Bundy Bounce which she hopes to use when she auditions to model the new Allante. However, Bud reveals this move to another model named Piper Bowman (Tia Carrere) who steals it as her own and gets the job leaving Kelly angry and vengeful.

After Al falls and hits his head in the mall fountain, he begins seeing aliens come into the house and steal his socks. No one else sees the aliens but Al insists they are real. Everyone makes fun of Al and Marcy tells him that a magazine will pay a lot of money of a picture of an alien. Al takes several with the aliens but the photo clerk loses the photos. Upon meeting the aliens again, they tell Al they use his socks as fuel to power their ship.

The socks have to be dirty, however.

After experiencing a traumatic day at the shoe store, Al's doctor recommends he relieve his stress by starting a vegetable garden. However, this is not a stress free activity for Al because a rabbit invades and steals his vegetables. Al nearly totally levels his house and Marcy's trying to catch the rabbit.

The attractive new neighbor asks Al for help moving a sofa into her new home. This feat of strength (which Al performed shirtless) caught the eye of every woman in the neighborhood who develope a sudden attraction to Al. This leaves Peggy in disbelief while Al relishes in the attention.

Kelly and Al get into a fight about Kelly having boys in her room and Kelly vows to move out. However, since Kelly does not have any money, Al fears she might have moved in with a sugar daddy. When Al visits Kelly, he sees an older man and immediately thinks this is who Kelly is living with and punches him. However, the man is just her roommate Brooke's father.
