Answer: Adrian

In Leg 1, teams found their first Road block task waiting at Ascensor Villaseca in the city of Valparaíso, Chile. Here, one member of each team was selected to perform a harrowing tightrope cable-walk spanning the length of a football field. Once at the other side, they would be reunited with their partner and they could collect their next clue. Caite, Jordan, Joe, Dan, Allie, Brandy, Shawne, Adrian, Louie, Shannon, and Cord all volunteered to complete this first Road Block. Adrian was unable to complete the Road Block having fallen off the tightrope cable twice.

He and Dana were eliminated from the race without arriving at the Pit Stop.
2. In the Road Block in Leg 2, team members needed to collect ingredients for which local dish?

Answer: Kuchen

In Leg 2, teams headed through Southern Chile and found their Road Block task at the Bellavista Farms outside Puerto Varas. This included a plate of butter, a bowl of sugar, and a bag of flour from the kitchen pantry, thirteen eggs from a hen house, and a cup of milk from a cow in the stables. Cord, Heidi, Carol, Brent, Jeff, Monique, Steve, Jordan, Jody, and Michael gathered the ingredients and finished this task before heading to the second Pit Stop.
3. In Leg 4, team members completed a Road Block task joined together thanks to what race mechanic?

Answer: Intersection

After this, team members could return to their partners and continue on un-intersected. Jet + Michael, Joe + Allie, Dan + Brandy, and Caite + Jordan completed this task.
4. In Leg 6, one team member needed to rappel into a wine cellar in France. Which team member completed this task?

Answer: Cord

In Leg 6, teams drove themselves to Epernay, France to complete a Road Block task at the Leclerc Briant winery. Here, one member of each team needed to rappel one hundred feet into a gloomy wine cellar, then search amongst thousands of bottles of champagne for only one of seven containing a marker with the race colours.

Once team members returned to their boat with the bottle, both members had to swim to the shore of the nearby island, Preslin, to open the bottle and assemble the map puzzle inside, then run to the nearby Pit Stop. Steve, Jordan, Brent, Louie, Jet, and Brandy completed this swimming task.

Answer: There were two to complete

In Leg 10, teams headed to Shanghai and one member of each team completed a traditional-noodle-making Road Block task in the village of Zhujiajiao. Later on in the leg, teams encountered a second Road Block in the same leg (for the first time in any race).

This task had to be completed by the other member of the team, so Brent, Cord, Dan, and Michael had to go into the field of Hongkou Football Stadium and solve a ninety-six piece puzzle, the pieces of which needed to be handed to people in the stands upon completion so that the team member could locate their next clue.

After this task, teams went to the Pit Stop at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum.
9. In Leg 11 in Shanghai, team members were required to count golden statues.

Answer: True

In Leg 11, teams found the Road Block task at the Longhua Temple in Shanghai. Here, one member of each team needed to go into the Arhat Hall of the temple and count the golden statues found in the room. This total would be comprised of five hundred twenty one gold Buddha statues and an additional two statues guarding the doors of the room. Once finished, they could give their number to a monk who would give them their next clue, otherwise they would take a ten minute penalty before trying again. Caite, Jet, Dan, and Louie did the work on this one before teams took motorcycle rides to their next stop.
10. During the final Road Block task of the race, team members climbed which San Francisco structure?

Answer: Coit Tower

In Leg 12, the remaining three teams raced to the city of San Francisco, California and found a clue at the Battery Godfrey leading them to Coit Tower atop Telegraph Hill. Here, one member of each team (Dan, Cord, and Brent) were required to use mechanical ascenders to reach a clue dangling from the top of the tower over two hundred feet up.
