Answer: David Lee

Premiering in 2009, "The Good Wife" tells the story of Alicia Florrick who is returning to work as a lawyer after being a stay-at-home mother for 13 years. Her return to work is prompted by her husband being arrested after being involved in political corruption and a sex scandal.

The idea for the show came to the writers after sex scandals like Eliot Spitzer, John Edwards, and Bill Clinton had made headlines. The divorce lawyer David Lee, while not liked by most characters, is a dependable resource for Alicia.

The picture associated with the question is a slingshot which was the weapon that was used by the Biblical character David in his battle against Goliath.
