SpongeBob 10th Anniversary Challenge: Part I Quiz

Answer: "Culture Shock"

This was the first episode I ever saw with my mother. As many know, Squidward wanted to do an act but was booed off the stage. They all loved SpongeBob just for mopping up (or doing nothing, for that matter).

Answer: Clams

In this episode, a fish orders Coral Bits for one dollar. This winds up being Mr. Krabs' one millionth dollar! Mr. Krabs tosses everyone out of his restaurant for "spoiling his moment". The fish that gave Mr. Krabs his millionth dollar never got his Coral Bits.

Answer: Q

This has been mentioned at the end of "Professor Squidward". What the "Q" stands for is never revealed. In the episode, Squidward is mistaken for Squilliam and is asked to teach at a prestigious music school. His scheme is revealed at the end of the episode when SpongeBob calls Squidward by his name. Squidward is then sent to prison for "impersonating a genius".

Answer: "Komputer Overload"

The only episode where the Krusty Krab wasn't destroyed was "Komputer Overload". It came close, however. Plankton had built three robots to "replace" Karen. He morphed the three into one huge one. He has the huge robot charge the Krusty Krab. The plug's cord for the robot was not long enough however, and the robot stopped a few feet before reaching the restaurant.

In "Squid on Strike", the Krusty Krab was destroyed when SpongeBob dismembered the establishment board by board. It was destroyed in "Slide Whistle Stooges" when Squidward started driving the truck.

He rode right through the Chum Bucket and the Krusty Krab. In "The Krusty Plate", it was destroyed twice. It happened once in a flashback sequence where a teary-eyed Mr. Krabs witnessed SpongeBob burn down the Krusty Krab while he left him alone, and another at the end when SpongeBob's machine malfunctioned and blew the Krusty Krab to smithereens. SpongeBob did get the plate clean, however.

Other episodes where the Krusty Krab was destroyed include "Suds" and "Pat No Pay".

Answer: A Krabby Patty with extra cheese

Mr. Krabs really tickles Patrick's fancy for the loot he thinks he has. Patrick loves cheese. This is made evident by several episodes going as far back as "Hooky." "How can they be dangerous? They're covered in free cheese." Patrick also ordered cheese for his room in "Krusty Towers." The whole room was covered in cheese! In "Pat No Pay", Patrick eats all those Krabby Patties by sucking them down his throat like a vacuum.

Afterward, when Patrick tells Mr. Krabs that he doesn't have any money, Mr. Krabs says, "I thought ya said you could pay for it." Patrick responds, "Oh! I'm payin' for it alright! Buuurrrp!" Mr. Krabs then screams out: "Non-paying customer!" He thus has Patrick work off his debt.

Answer: "Can I eat now?"

After Patrick is put to work, he destroys many of Mr. Krabs' possessions. Mr. Krabs cries, "You've destroyed me refrigerator! You've destroyed many of the things I love!" After this, he puts Patrick to work he thinks he knows he can do. He has Patrick toss garbage bags into the garbage disposal. Mr. Krabs asks SpongeBob to put one of his goldbags into his safe. Patrick, thinking it's trash, grabs the bag from SpongeBob and tosses it in the disposal.

This jams the disposal. It malfunctions and blows up the Krusty Krab. Poor Mr. Krabs.

Answer: "Pets or Pests"

All worms in "SpongeBob SquarePants" are like dogs. The guard worms are green, vicious worms. Other green worms who were not guard worms appeared in episodes such as "Dumped" and "Sandy's Rocket." In "The Lost Mattress", the guard worm was guarding the dump.

He was sleeping on top of Mr. Krabs' money-stuffed mattress. He ended up causing great pain for Squidward. In "Best Frenemies", the guard worm guarded one of the Kelp Shake stores. In "Toy Store of Doom", the guard worm was on the scent of SpongeBob and Patrick while they hid out in the store. "Pet or Pests" did not contain a guard worm.

It was a rare pink species of worm that ended up having babies. SpongeBob had to find all five good homes.

Brother Roger is the bouncer of the Free Masonic-like lodge. While enjoying a meeting, Squidward says to himself, "This almost makes the other 353 days worth living for."

Mr. Krabs' grandfather mailed him a letter to notify him of his visit. "Ahoy Yoo-Jeen! I'm so proud ya followed yer ol grampa's peg leg and became a pirate, that I'll be sailing by fer a ship's inspection. That ol vessel better be well-oiled or you'll be dancing the short plank jig! Happee lootin! -Grampa Red Beard

Answer: "Maximizing Profit"

"Good Ol' Whatshisname" is shorter than eleven minutes, but is packed with trivia. Mr. Krabs read the magazine at the start of the episode. He gets ideas from it that wind up causing a load of trouble for Squidward. Squidward winds up being sent to jail as an indirect result of Mr. Krabs reading the magazine.

Patrick's ability to gobble down a ton of food in a few seconds was also demonstrated in several other episodes. In "Grandma's Kisses", his mouth turns vacuum-like and sucks up dozens of cookies at once. In "Pat No Pay", the same thing happens, but with several dozen Krabby Patties.

Other customers there that day include, but are not limited to: Sadie, the man with the mystery name, and Susie Fish. Gus was seen in several other episodes. His name was first learned in this episode. Gus is often seen with a fedora hat.

Answer: "I Was a Teenage Gary"

In "I Was a Teenage Gary", when SpongeBob is turning into a snail and loses his right hand, he says it is okay because he is a lefty anyway. In "Neptune's Spatula", he tells Neptune that he has two left hands. In "Slimy Dancing", he has two left feet.

In "The Splinter", Patrick playing doctor for SpongeBob and making him more ill was not original to this episode. A similar incident happened in "Suds".

Answer: What Zit Tooya

When Squidward asked him his name and he told him, he thought he meant "scram" or "get lost." Squidward is sent to prison for ten years. It turns out, Mr. Krabs never planned on giving anyone a tropical vacation. The "Con Hugeo" brochure was the prize. It was cluttering Mr. Krab's desk.

Answer: "Krusty Love" and "Chocolate With Nuts"

"Fancy!" is first seen in the magnificent episode, "Krusty Love". The restaurant looks like a ship in a bottle. Mr. Krabs takes Mrs. Puff there. He spares no expenses. It is evident Mr. Krabs and Mrs. Puff eventually broke up. They never again have any dialogue with one another in any future episode.

The closest they come is in "Wishing You Well." She drives past Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob in her new boat she got from the magic of the well. Mr. Krabs accuses her of stealing the boat. This may indicate malevolence as a result of a past breakup. Even though Mr. Krabs says he never met Mrs. Puff before in the episode, the two were seen dancing in "SpongeBob's House Party." That episode aired before "Krusty Love". Entrepreneurs SpongeBob and Patrick take Lazy Mary and her skeleton mother to "Fancy!" in "Chocolate With Nuts."
