Nothing had really been mentioned about Mr. Spock's parents to this point in the series. It came as quite a shock to find he has a human mother. If you had shown me a police lineup with ten women and asked me to pick the one I thought was Spock's mother, I am sure Jane Wyatt would've been the last one I would have chosen.

Her most well-known TV role was as Margaret Anderson, the mother on "Father Knows Best". (Does that make Betty, Bud and Kathy Spock's step-siblings?)

Answer: She planned to kill herself after finding out about Spock's wife

She was the Head Nurse and was once engaged to Dr. Korby. As for the soup, she not only made it for him once but twice (due to the fact that he threw both the soup and Nurse Chapel out of his cabin during his time of pon farr. Majel Barrett played the role of Nurse Chapel and also played the role of Number One in the "Star Trek" pilot, "The Cage".

She appeared in all three seasons of the original series and in the movies "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" and "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home". She was also married to series creator Gene Roddenberry.

Sadly, Spock and Droxine do not get together because of a squabble over the treatment of the workers who mine the rare element zienite. Diana Ewing portrayed Droxine.

T'Pring chooses Captain Kirk to challenge Spock in a fight to the death. Kirk is no match for the Vulcan and dies at the hands of his First Officer - so it seems. Spock must return to the ship and surrender himself for killing a Federation Officer leaving T'Pring free to marry Stonn. Arlene Martel played the lovely T'Pring. (Spoiler alert: Captain Kirk does not really die in this episode!)

The young woman who mysteriously popped in was Kara, a leader from a planet in the Sigma Draconis star system. In this episode aptly named "Spock's Brain", she takes his mind to help her planet with its day-to-day functions calling Spock's brain the 'Controller'. Kara was played by Marj Dusay.

In this episode entitled "The Enterprise Incident" (season 3, #57), Spock keeps the Romulan commander occupied while Kirk tries to locate the cloaking device. Spock does appear to have more than feigning interest in her when he tells her at the end of the mission that she shouldn't underestimate the power of her seductiveness.

According to Kirk, T'Pau was the only person to ever turn down a seat on the Federation Council! She was played by actress Celia Lovsky.

The episode was called "All of Our Yesterdays" (season 3, #79) and starred Mariette Hartley as Zarabeth. The original broadcast was March 14, 1969 and was the next to last show before the series was cancelled.

Leila showed Mr. Spock the secret to the colonists survival -- plants that showered anyone who got too close with spores that provided protection from the deadly berthold rays. The spores offered what most people considered paradise -- peace, love, harmony and perfect health. Spock is infected by the spores and falls in love with Leila. Spock even admits after the effects of the spores is counteracted that for the first time in his life he was happy - truly happy! This episode was called "This Side of Paradise" (season 1, #24).

Mr. Spock is a sly old dog. He showed some passion while kissing both Leila and Zarabeth; however, in the episode "Plato's Stepchildren" (season 3, #65) Spock and Nurse Chapel are forced to kiss by Parmen. But a kiss is a kiss.
