Donna told Josh about her favorite teacher, Mrs. Morello, retiring which prompted Josh to tell her about his favorite teacher. Donna wanted Josh to give Mrs. Morello a Presidential proclamation because she was 'one of those teachers' and she was retiring.

They couldn't give Mrs. Morello a proclamation, but the President turned himself into the 'magic man' and let Donna talk to Mrs. Morello from the Oval Office.
