Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which character every season goes through a day of his life in real time?

Answer: Jack Bauer

On "24", Jack's day keeps him very busy. If you notice, there is never a single bathroom break in any of the days. Every year the powers that be seem to decide that Jack can not be trusted, but there is always someone loyal to Jack who works with him behind their boss's back.
2. Who commanded Earth's first Warp 5 starship, using the engine that his father helped to create?

Answer: Jonathan Archer

"Enterprise" was the first "Star Trek" series not to have the words "Star Trek" in it's title, that did not happen until the third episode of the third season. It was also the first series since "TOS" not to run seven seasons.
3. Who was married to a KGB operative, was in the CIA, then became part of a group that claimed to a black ops division of the CIA, but was working against them?

Answer: Jonathan "Jack" Bristow

Even though he was absent most of Sydney's childhood, he has grown closer to her over the course of the series and would kill to protect her and the people she loves. "Alias" ran for five seasons.
4. This Air Force ex-Special Ops Col. lead his team on mission to other planets every week, until he got promoted.

Answer: Jonathan "Jack" O'Neill

Even though Jack is no longer a main character on "SG-1", Sam/Jack shippers still look for clues into their relationship. Jack O'Neill with two "L"s (the series) has a sense of humor; O'Neil with one "L" does not (the movie).
5. Before becoming "Lost" on the island, he had many jobs, including working for a box company. The island somehow healed him, allowing him to walk for the first time in years.

Answer: John Locke

Terry O'Quinn is quite well known in Sci-Fi circles, just prior to this role on "Lost" he had a recurring role on "Alias", as FBI Asst. Director Kendall. He has also had roles "X-Files", both the series the the movie, and on "ST:TNG".
6. While he started out the highest ranking Air Force officer on Atlantis, the death of Col. Sumner made him the top military officer on the base, answering only to Dr. Wier.

Answer: John Shepperd

Of the five original stars of "Stargate: Atlantis", Joe Flanigan is the only American, the other all being British or Canadian. For the second season Jason Momoa was added to the cast (an American), Paul McGillion (a Scott) was promoted from recurring character to main star, and Rainbow Sun Francks (a Canadian) was let go.
7. The second commanding officer of the Babylon 5 station, he was also the only Earth captain to destroy a Minbari cruiser during the Earth/Minbari War.

Answer: John Sheridan

During episode 2.2 "Revelations", his wife was played by Beth Toussaint, however by episode 3.21 "Shadow Dancing" the choice had been made to have Bruce's real life wife Melissa Gilbert play the role, so those scenes were re-shot to show her. "Babylon 5" was planed as a five year run from the start.
8. The Captain of the "Enterprise-D", he is a diplomat and an explorer.

Answer: Jean-Luc Picard

In 1987, "Star Trek: The Next Generation" was the first "Star Trek" series since "TOS" in 1969. Unlike Capt. Kirk, Capt. Picard rarely led away teams, instead letting his XO lead the often times deadly missions.
9. A doctor in his life before the island, he has become the leader the the survivors.

Answer: Jack Shepherd

The "5" that Matthew Fox has tattooed has no meaning on "Lost", but refers to his time on "Party of Five".
10. A astronaut in the ISNA, he was transported to another part of the galaxy. Joining up with escaped prisoners on a living ship, he tries to get home any way he can.

Answer: John Crichton

"Farscape" was seen by many as the next "Star Trek", given it's highly diverse crew. During the mini-series, his wife on the show Aeryn Sun (Claudia Black) killed War Minister Akhna, played by his wife in real life (Francesca Buller). Both Ben Browder and Claudia Black, as of season 10, have starring roles on "Stargate SG-1".
