Answer: At an old railroad yard

Terminus was located at the terminus of a railway, in an abandoned railway yard complex where maintenance was performed on trains. Abandoned train cars still existed about the camp, and they were used to temporarily imprison Rick's group as well as the original inhabitants of Terminus when the camp was raided.

Answer: Gareth and his mother Mary

Gareth is played by Andrew J. West. He was in charge of Terminus, along with his mother Mary (played by Denise Crosby). Gareth was eventually killed by Rick, who hacked him to death with a machete in season 5, episode 3, "Four Walls and a Roof."

After the prison collapsed and Rick's community was scattered, Carol and Tyreese, who were hiking with Judith, Lizzie, and Mika, discovered a sign with the words:

"Terminus, community for all, sanctuary for all. Those who arrive survive." The community also broadcast this message through the radio.

In a flashback, Gareth's brother Alex warned that the signs were a "mistake."
After her near-death experience at Terminus, Maggie painted a big NO above "Sanctuary" on the signs as the group moved on in search of a new camp.

In season 4, episode 3, "Isolation," Daryl was with Michonne, Bob, and Tyreese on a supply run when he heard the broadcast saying, "Terminus, community for all, sanctuary for all." They lost the signal, however, when Daryl dodged a walker in the middle of the road.

This was the first time Terminus was mentioned on "The Walking Dead." The first time the audience physically sees Terminus, however, is in season 4, episode 15, "Us."

Answer: butcher

The bandits followed the signs to Terminus, killed some of the inhabitants, and locked others in the train cars to take them out periodically to abuse them. This went on for weeks before the original inhabitants managed to escape and take over the camp again.

By then, the bandits had eaten all of the food. After the terrible experience, the original inhabitants decided it was better to preserve their community by becoming the "butchers." They continued to leave the signs up but began killing and butchering anyone who arrived and eating them for meat.

The shrine was also lit with candles. The names and lifespans of the victims were written on the floor alongside some of their personal effects. The shrine served as a reminder of their horrifying experience and a warning not to allow themselves to become victims again.

While her friends are in the slaughterhouse portion of Terminus kneeling before the trough where they are about to be killed for meat, Carol blows up a gas tank and lets in a herd of walkers. This gives the captives a chance to fight back, but it is Carol who does the rescuing and most of the destruction of Terminus.

Answer: Tyreese, Beth, Judith, and Lizzie

Abraham, Rosita, Eugene, Bob, Sasha, Glenn, Tara, and Maggie are the first members of the group to arrive at Terminus, and they are imprisoned in a train car. Carl, Rick, Daryl, and Michonne are later put in the same car. Beth had already been kidnapped at this point and her whereabouts were unknown. Lizzie had been shot by Carol after killing her sister Mika, and Tyreese stayed behind to watch Judith while Carol went on to Terminus.

Answer: Bob

Bob laughs as they eat his leg, which they have cut off while keeping him alive. He knows he has been bitten by a walker and is bound to die anyway, and he laughs and cries, "Tainted meat!"

Answer: Martin

Carol and Tyreese discover Martin in a shack planting fireworks and communicating over a radio about Carl and Michonne. They bind him, and Carol goes off to rescue her friends from Terminus while leaving Tyreese in charge of him. In a moment when Tyrese's back is turned, Martin manages to lunge at Judith, get his hands around her neck, and threaten to break it if Tyrese doesn't go out into the herd of walkers. But Tyrese eventually gets the upper hand on Martin.

Martin ends up with the survivors of Terminus after Carol destroys it. Their new nomadic group resemble The Hunters in the comic book series. Martin is stabbed to death by Sasha in "Four Walls and a Roof" when he and the other ex-inhabitants of Terminus break into the church where Rick's group is staying.
