In the same episode, Aaron and Daryl find a walker corpse hanging from a tree, gutted, entrails hanging out. She, too, has a "W" carved in her forehead.

Many of the walkers are inscribed with the letter W. Daryl and Aaron end up trapped in a car, and Morgan rescues them. When Aaron leaves his backpack behind, the Wolves learn about Alexandria Safe-Zone from the photos inside.

The same Wolves later attack Rick when he is stopped along the roadside, and Rick kills them. Rick also kills the Wolf who attacks Deanna Monroe when he returns to Alexandria.

Denise tries to reason with Owen, the leader of the Wolves. Owen protects her from walkers who, drawn by the horn on the truck, are now flooding into Alexandria, and he gets bit. He is then devoured by walkers, and Morgan puts down his zombified form.
