The Walking "Dead" Trivia Quiz

Scott Wilson played the veterinarian who saved young Carl Grimes after he was accidentally shot by Otis in season two. He was killed by the Governor in season four, right in front of our group at the prison. It was Michonne who ended his undead life by putting her weapon through his zombie brain.

Answer: Shane Walsh

Rick and Shane had worked together as cops before the world went away. In season two, a series of events led Shane to stage an elaborate scenario that would allow him to kill Rick. Rick figured it out, and beat Shane at his own game. After Shane died, he turned, and Carl shot him in the head.

This was when Rick realized the significance of the warning he received at the end of season one. It was that everyone was already infected. You just had to die to turn. Jon Bernthal played Shane.

Answer: Lori Grimes

It was clear early on that Lori Grimes was not cut out to be a survivor. In order to survive, she'd have to change, and she was never willing to do that. She went into labor inside the prison in season three, and Maggie was forced to do a c-section to get Judith out. Lori bled to death during that event. Judith was saved that day, and Carl was forced to shoot his mom in the head to prevent her from turning. Rick went back to get her body, but something had already eaten her.

It was never clear who fathered Judith, but the odds were in favor of Shane. Sarah Wayne Callies played Lori.

Answer: Beth Greene

At the time of these events (and this quiz), Grady Memorial was a real hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dawn was in charge of the survivors inside the hospital. These people had kidnapped Beth after our group had been forced to leave the prison in season four. They almost had Beth back, when Dawn accidentally shot her in the head. Daryl immediately killed Dawn, and then carried Beth's body out.

Emily Kinney played Beth. Christine Woods played Dawn.

Answer: Dale Horvath

Dale was attacked by a walker on Hershel's farm. He'd had his insides ripped out, but hadn't died, when the group found him. The walker was one Carl had unintentionally lured out of a pond, in which it had been stuck. Daryl shot Dale to end his misery. Jeffrey DeMunn played Dale, who was always trying to be the voice of reason. People who encouraged others to always do the "right" thing did not last long. Answer: Noah

Nicholas forced the door open so he could escape in season five's "Spend". This caused Noah to be compromised, and the walkers ripped him apart in front of Glenn's eyes. Nicholas' selfish ways would put Glenn in danger again in season six. Beth was the first to meet Noah inside Grady Memorial, and the two escaped Dawn's survivor group together. Beth was recaptured, and then Noah led our group to her. We never learned Noah's last name, but the actor who played him, Tyler James Williams, also played Chris in "Everybody Hates Chris".

Answer: Denise Cloyd

Denise saved Carl after he was shot in the eye in the season six episode "No Way Out". She and Tara had become romantically involved during season six, but Tara was away with Heath when Denise was shot. It was Dwight who killed her, using the bow he'd taken from Daryl earlier in the season.

This event led to many more bad moments in season six. Merritt Wever played Denise. Fans may remember her as Zoey on "Nurse Jackie".

Answer: Tyreese Williams

To honor Beth's promise to Noah, the gang left Georgia and headed to Noah's childhood home. Despite being a gated community, it had been ravished by walkers and humans alike. Tyreese was attacked by one of Noah's zombie brothers, and then bled too much to survive his amputation. He saw Bob, Beth, Lizzie, and Mika as he bled out, and was comforted by them. It allowed him to let go. He died in the car as they fled, Michonne prevented him from turning, and he was buried on the way to Alexandria. His death led Sasha down a dark road. Chad Coleman played Sasha's brother Tyreese.

More info provided by player valjoedg: While Tyreese was hallucinating, he also saw the Governor and Martin. He'd beaten Martin to death when he threatened baby Judith. In between his visual hallucinations, a radio in the background was a British voice who happened to be Andrew Lincoln.

Answer: Andrea Harrison

This was in the season three finale. Andrea had tried to broker peace between Woodbury and the prison, between Rick and Phillip (the Governor), and all she got for her trouble was a bite from her dead ally Milton. The group found her in time to say goodbye, and she ended her own life before she could turn. Laurie Holden played Andrea from seasons 1-3. Once more, never good to be the voice of reason in unreasonable times.

Answer: Lizzie Samuels

In what was the most shocking death to date at the time of its airing, Carol was forced to exterminate the sociopath Lizzie Samuels. Lizzie was about twelve years old, and believed that walkers were just sick people who wanted to be friends with her. She dissected rats and rabbits, fed rats to walkers, and killed her little sister Mika to prove to Carol and Tyreese that walkers were not bad, and should not be killed.

The two girls had been watching Judith at the time, and Lizzie offered to kill Judith as well, but Carol talked her down.

Then she walked Lizzie into a small field of flowers, repeated an old phrase to her, "look at the flowers Lizzie", and shot her in the head. That was not seen on screen. This was the season four episode "The Grove". Brighton Sharbino played Lizzie and Kyla Kenedy played Mika.
