Spongebob and Patrick are determined to make this day Squidward's best day ever, but it turns out to be one of the worst. Spongebob and Patrick first try soup and music, but they don't work out well. Finally, they take Squidward outside to Jellyfish, even though Squidward is covered from head to foot in bandages.

They try to teach Squidward how to Jellyfish, but they keep getting zapped by the jellyfish. Squidward then gets in on the action, only to run into a giant jellyfish that zaps him so hard we don't even get to see it. Spongebob and Patrick try to apologize by giving a jellyfish to Squidward, who is now covered in even more bandages. Squidward is so furious at them both, he frees the jellyfish and it goes after Spongebob and Patrick. Squidward's laughter at this is shortened however when the giant jellyfish returns and gives Squidward one more big ZAP!

Spongebob is sure that Gary has had all his shots, but when Patrick mentions "Mad Snail Disease", Spongebob becomes silent. Patrick then says the bite from a mad snail will turn you into a zombie. People everywhere are so scared by this that they think they are all turning into zombies even though they haven't even been bitten by a snail. Spongebob is positive that Gary is not a bad snail, but when Gary suddenly bites Spongebob, the townspeople are determined to get rid of the snail.

A doctor steps in and says this "Mad Snail Disease" is just a myth and it doesn't exist, and the reason why Gary bit all those people is because he has a splinter on his underside.

As soon as the splinter is removed, everything goes back to normal...sort of. Squidward thinks he is still a zombie and Gary all of a sudden bites Mr. Krabs.

Squilliam, Squidward's rival from band class, challenges Squidward to play his band at the Bubble Bowl since he can't play his band that day. Desperate to not look like a fool in front of Squilliam, Squidward starts his own band class. Anyone who is anyone has showed up: Spongebob, Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, and even Plankton.

The classes don't go very well though and after four days of training, they are just plain awful. Squidward starts to cry, because everyone has ruined his dream. Determined to make Squidward proud though, the class works harder than ever; and it pays off.

As soon and Squidward starts conducting in the Bowl, the band plays magnificently and Spongebob starts singing in an "anthem" tone. The crowd has their lighters out, and Squilliam gets a heart attack from shock. Squidward's dream has come true after all.

Spongebob and Patrick are determined that evil is still afoot, but Mermaidman and Barnacleboy refuse to go back to being heroes. Spongebob and Patrick try to get them out of retirement by doing things like telling old stories about how they saved the world, acting out a fake robbery, and even painting Mermaidman and Barnacleboy's Invisible Boatmobile. Finally, Mermaidman and Barnacleboy find evil, and it is Spongebob and Patrick.

They decide to come out of retirement to get rid of Spongebob and Patrick. Soon a whole new season of Mermaidman and Barnacleboy is on TV, and it is all thanks to Spongebob and Patrick's stupidity and annoyance.

Squidward keeps trying to tell Spongebob that the award is nothing but a joke, but Spongebob is determined to win it again, even if he has to cheat. Fed up with Spongebob's attempts to try and win the award again, Squidward decides to prove how easy it is to win that award and challenges Spongebob to see if he could be the new employee of the month.

The competition between them becomes fierce all through the night into next morning. Both are so determined to win the award that they get carried away and end up destroying the Krusty Krab. I think Spongebob ends up winning again though, because in the "Spongebob Squarepants Movie", he has won employee of the month 374 times in a row. Wow!

Squidward wants to make sure he wins this year, so he buys Snellie, who has the highest pedicure. Thinking that Squidward thinks his snail is better than Gary, Spongebob enters Gary into the race as well. Even Patrick enters his snail into the race, but his snail is really a rock. Spongebob trains Gary all through the night for the race tomorrow; a little too much. Gary is so exhausted at the beginning of the race, both of his eyes and shell explode, and he ends up crashing into the wall with a huge explosion. Snellie is about to win the race when all of a sudden she turns around and comforts Gary. So who ends up winning the race? Patrick and his "snail" named Rocky. Knowing how much Squidward wanted to win, Patrick hands the trophy over to him.

As for Spongebob...he gets kicked in the butt by Sandy!

I have no idea how it can be snowing inside a treedome, but Sandy is hibernating during this time. Sandy's appearance is very different. Instead of being small and skinny, she is now tall and huge. Spongebob and Patrick think this whole situation is funny, but when they start making too much noise, Sandy suddenly wakes up. Disturbed and mad looking, she thinks Spongebob and Patrick are Texas outlaws and beats them up painfully. Spongebob and Patrick try to leave, but the door is frozen shut and they are stuck inside until spring.

They decide to stay warm by ripping off Sandy's fur and using it for themselves. But as soon as they get the fur on, the snow stops and spring arrives. Sandy, now with no fur coat, uses Spongebob and Patrick as fur.

It doesn't seem like much, but Spongebob still has trouble with it. Mrs. Puff though couldn't care less and gives Spongebob his license anyway. Mrs. Puff is sure nothing would go wrong because Spongebob didn't even have a boat to drive. But when she comes home, she gets a surprise from Spongebob and his parents.

They thank her for being such a great teacher and then Spongebob gets his own surprise: his own boatmobile. To not be responsible for Spongebob's awful driving, Mrs. Puff steals Spongebob's boat.

But as she is driving away, who else does she find in the boat but Spongebob himself. They both fight in the boat until the boat crashes into a police car. Mrs. Puff apologizes to Spongebob and says he is not ready for a license, but Spongebob understands and is willing to go back to boating school. First though, Mrs. Puff needs to wait until she can get out of jail.

This is just a cover story so Spongebob wouldn't know what Squidward is really trying to do: take a day off. No matter how much he tries to relax, Squidward keeps having strange visions in his head on what Spongebob might be doing. And since he is charge of the Krusty Krab today, anything Spongebob does wrong will be his responsibility.

He therefore keeps rushing back to the Krusty Krab to check on Spongebob and Spongebob keeps asking him, "Have you finished those errands?" Squidward becomes so nervous he starts to go mad and rushes to the Krusty Krab one more time naked. Squidward finally decides to return to his place at the cash register, only to find out later that they forget to switch the sign outside from "closed" to "open".

It is summertime in Bikini Bottom and Mr. Krabs is eagerly waiting for the children and their money to come to the Krusty Krab, but all of them are at a new playground. Mr. Krabs builds his own playground called Krabby Land which turns out to be a complete dump, but everyone gets excited when Mr. Krabs promises them a clown to come by.

While Mr. Krabs counts the children's money, Spongebob stalls the kids by causing himself pain. One of his pain gags was being forced to eat lima beans. After Mr. Krabs counts all the children's money, he introduces Krabby the clown...which turns out to be himself. All the children get furious at him and take all their money back.

As the kids play with all their money, Mr. Krabs gets forced to eat lima beans.
