5. What was the name of the Admiral, who ordered Edward Jellico to replace Jean-Luc Picard as Captain of the USS Enterprise-D in the "TNG" two-part episode "Chain of Command"?

Admiral Alynna Necheyev's image was also used in the two part "DS9" episode "The Search" by the Dominion after Sisko and crew have been captured. Question by Daddy19
6. Crossing the ______ ______ ______ by either the United Federation of Planets or the Romulans might lead to war.

Answer: Romulan Neutral Zone

The Romulan Neutral Zone was an off-limits area established after a war between Earth and Romulans. The consequence of either party entering into the Neutral Zone could be war. But course to make exciting episodes in the "Star Trek Universe" the Neutral Zone has been breached several times.

"Star Trek: TNG" brought back the Romulans, one of the old foes from "TOS" in the episode "The Neutral Zone." The Enterprise finds three humans, from the 20th century who had been cryogenically frozen. The captain orders the Enterprise to the Neutral Zone to investigate why Federation outposts are not responding to any attempt at communication. They find all the Federation outposts completely obliterated. Then a Romulan ship decloaks and appears. If you don't know what happens next, rewatch the episode!

This episode echoes a "Star Trek: TOS" episode, "Balance of Terror," where in a similar way, the Enterprise investigates annihilated outposts near the Romulan Neutral Zone. A battle between the Enterprise and a Romulan Bird of Prey commences.

There is a major difference between the encounter of the Enterprise with the Romulans in "The Neutral Zone" (TNG) versus in "Balance of Terror" (TOS). If you don't remember what this difference is, be sure to watch both episodes again!
7. Starships hide in these to escape detection from hostile aliens. What is defined as a cloud of gas or dust and is also a class of starship?

Answer: nebula

In "The Best of Both Worlds" (TNG), the Enterprise hid in the Paulson Nebula, from the Borg because the composition of this nebula contained substances that would make the sensors of the Borg cube not function properly. The name of this nebula was mentioned in the episode. The Enterprise eventually had to leave the nebula due to a special type of Borg weapon.

In "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan," the Enterprise battled Khan and his group who had taken control of the Reliant in a nebula. Kirk wanted to go into the nebula to make the battle between the Enterprise and the Reliant more evenly matched since the Enterprise was badly damaged. The nebula would negatively affect the systems of the Reliant as well as the Enterprise. This battle lasted until Khan set off the Genesis Device which led to the formation of the Genesis Planet.

This is one of my favorite "Star Trek" movies and I recently rewatched it. The special effects of the nebula were really awesome.

8. One word goes in both these blanks. Both are episode titles in the "Star Trek" Universe. "The ________ Now" and "The ________ Time." What word is missing form titles of episodes that both involved destroyed ships with frozen bodies, and seemingly "intoxicated" crew?

Answer: naked

"The Naked Time," is a "Star Trek: TOS," episode and "The Naked Now," is an episode of "Star Trek: TNG" that links to this episode. Both episodes had to do with an infection that spread to crew members with the symptom of an intoxicated-like state with out of control emotions, and poor judgment that can lead to shipwide disasters.

"TOS": Many fans will remember a shirtless Sulu strutting through the Enterprise with a fencing foil and Nurse Chapel declaring her love for Spock, while Spock struggles to retain control of his emotions.

"TNG": Also many will remember when Tasha Yar throws herself at Data, and it is implied that they had been intimate. Strangely Data too was infected even though he is an android. Wesley Crusher also takes over the ship!

9. What was the name of the devices that Seven of Nine had in her bloodstream? By injecting them into someone else's body, the assimilation process would begin?

Answer: Nanoprobes

Whilst the main reason for nanoprobes was to assimilation into the Borg collective, Voyager's doctor managed to use them for different purposes on a couple of occasions. He reprogrammed them to be a cure against viruses and also as a weapon to try and destroy Species 8472.

In the episode "Inside Man", the Ferengi developed a plan that would return Voyager to the Alpha quadrant in order to seize Seven of Nine's nanoprobes.

Question by Daddy19
10. At the beginning of "TNG" sixth-season episode "Descent, Part I", Data created a holodeck program where he played poker with three great minds from Earth's history: Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, and whom?

Answer: Sir Isaac Newton

The purpose of his effort was an experiment to see "how three of history's greatest minds would interact" in such a setting. Hawking won another hand just as the Red Alert sounded, and Data suspended the program.
