Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What do you need to do to reach the picture of Bubblegloop Swamp?

Answer: Swim

In the area containing the entrance to Clanker's Cavern, you can hit a couple of switches to make some pipes rise. Once you climb onto a pipe and find Brentilda, you can find one more switch to open a large steel grate. Enter this and you can find the Bubblegloop Swamp picture. The picture requires seven Jiggies to open and you'll need to open a 180-Note Door along the way.
2. What can you learn to use in Bubblegloop Swamp?

Answer: Wading Boots

If you find Bottles behind the entrance to the level, he'll teach you how to use the first of two pairs of shoes in the game: the Wading Boots. These shoes will allow Kazooie to Talon Trot Banjo through the piranha-infested waters of the swamp. It is also used in future levels to prevent Banjo from being frozen or eaten in different types of water and other substances.
3. How many turtles (excluding Tiptup) can be found inside Tanktup's shell?

Answer: Six

Tanktup is the large turtle in the swamp and you can claim a Jiggy from this creature if you Beak Bust his four numb feet. He'll also let you enter his shell to listen to Tiptup perform with his choir. Once again, you can earn a Jiggy. Tiptup will conduct his coloured turtle choir and you'll need to Beak Bust them to make a tune.

After three perfect performances, you can claim your prize, but if you hit the wrong turtle, you'll lose a Honeycomb.
4. How many Jinjos are found in the waters of Bubblegloop Swamp?

Answer: Two

Both the orange and the pink Jinjos are standing waist-deep in piranha-infested water (not a good idea). The easiest way to get these is by transforming using Mumbo's magic and wading out to reach them because in both cases you're unlikely to find a nearby pair of wading boots.

Another idea is to use the Wonderwing. Although it may use up a lot of Gold Feathers, you'll be able to walk through the swamp.
5. One of the Empty Honeycombs of this stage is inside Tanktup. Where is the other?

Answer: In Mumbo's skull

To reach the Empty Honeycomb in Mumbo's skull, you can jump on one of the four poles inside to reach the ledge around the top of the room. Then, you can jump to the center of the ceiling to claim this piece of Honeycomb. The second Honeycomb can be found inside Tanktup's shell. To reach it, you'll need to jump from the top of Tiptup's head.
6. How many different Croctuses can be found in the swamp?

Answer: Five

The first Croctus is located near the entrance/exit of the level and all you need to do is shoot an egg into its mouth. Once you do this, another Croctus will appear elsewhere in the level and you'll need to repeat the task until you run out of Croctuses. Each Croctus will increase in the speed of its chomps so you might have a bit of trouble shooting the egg into its mouth. Only one egg is needed to feed each Croctus.
7. The Grunty Switch for this stage is in Mr. Vile's chamber.

Answer: False

The Grunty Switch can be found in one of the huts in the Shock Jumping area of the level. Once you hit the switch, the cone of Grunty's hat on Statue Island will burst open and you'll be able to fall into it to get the caged Jiggy. Unfortunately, to do this, you need to pass the next Note Door, create a Shock Jump Pad, and jump into the large urn outside Gobi's Valley.
8. What type of creature will Mumbo turn you into in Bubblegloop Swamp?

Answer: Alligator

The alligator may be a small creature, but it's the only transformation in the game that will be able to attack enemies with a fierce chomp. The gator can also let Banjo and Kazooie walk through the swamp without the risk of being harmed by piranhas. Also, if you chomp and defeat an enemy, you'll be given two Honeycombs instead of the usual one. You need ten Mumbo Tokens to complete the transformation, and Mumbo's hut is inside the large swamp maze.
9. What are the red creatures that you'll need to eat during Mr. Vile's challenge?

Answer: Yumblies

As a gator you can enter the large alligator in the swamp through the nostrils. Here, Mr. Vile the crocodile will challenge you in three events. The first involves eating as many Red Yumblies as you can. The second event involves eating Red Yumblies while avoiding the unripe Yellow Grumblies.

The third and final event involves eating the coloured Yumblie/Grumblie shown at the top of the screen whether it be yellow or red. This task is much easier if you learn how to use the Turbo Shoes in Gobi's Valley first.
10. How long do you have to complete the trail through the trees after hitting the Jiggy Switch near the beginning of the stage?

Answer: Forty-five seconds

If you hit the Jiggy Switch near the beginning of the level, a Jiggy will appear at the end of a leafy path just above you. To reach it, you'll need to use your skills with the Talon Trot and your skills maneuvering Banjo to walk the narrow branches to the prize in forty-five seconds.

There is a second Jiggy Switch in this stage near Mumbo's hut in the swamp maze, but you only have ten seconds to complete the task.
