Console Gaming: The Lonely Answer Quiz

Answer: PlayStation

Sega created the Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast. Unfortunately, the Dreamcast was surprisingly unpopular, which prompted Sega to discontinue hardware and focus primarily on new games for other consoles. The "PlayStation" is made by Sony, not Sega.

Answer: Sonic

Link (of the Zelda fame), Mario, and Donkey Kong all have exclusive rights to Nintendo, as they are (co-)created by Nintendo themselves.

Answer: Valve

Square is the company behind the famous "Final Fantasy" series (now known as "Square Enix" due to a merger), while most Final Fantasy games involve Chocobos (bird-like creatures) and Summons (spells that summon mystic gods of water, earth, wind, fire, and more).

Answer: Mace

There is no mace in these two Zelda games, which are for the SNES and N64, respectively. The hookshot must be obtained in both games, and is later substituted for a longshot in "Ocarina of Time". Also, both games involve a Bow and Arrow set. The Magical Hammer is obtained in the first dungeon of the dark world in "A Link To The Past", while is it the key item in the Fire Temple in "Ocarina of Time", where it is called the "Megaton Hammer".

Mario has to save Princess Peach Toadstool in his series, while Link must save Zelda in his series of games.

Glacius is from "Killer Instinct", an arcade game emulated onto the SNES.

"Super Metroid" was released on the SNES, not the NES, as is illustrated by the word "Super" in front!

All of these games, except the correct answer, are from the "Legend of Zelda" series that were released on the notoriously horrible "Phillips CD-I" gaming console. These games were deemed so horrible that Nintendo wouldn't even claim proper ownership of them once they were released publicly. Nintendo did not actually make these games, but instead, they gave Philips the rights to create these games with their characters, and to this day, very few people have heard of them. If you ever come across them, take my word: they are absolutely abysmal.

This is a fact, because they are not only horrible in story and appeal, but they disgrace the "Zelda" series completely with no plot and no Zelda-like charisma.

Answer: Vega

Vega is from the "Street Fighter" series. He plays a boss in "Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior", and he is a playable character in "Street Fighter 2 Turbo: Hyper Fighting", which differences are small but pleasant. For one, you can play as any of the four bosses, and two, you can choose the same player as each other without requiring a cheat code. "Turbo" also features the ability to enter in a code and speed your game up immensely.

Answer: Kefka

Shadow the Hedgehog is the newer arch-rival of Sonic the Hedgehog, while Tails is Sonic's helicopter-like friend. Kefka is the evil jester who wants to rule the world in "Final Fantasy III" (entitled "Final Fantasy VI" in Japan). Well, that's it! Thanks for playing! Hope you enjoyed it!
