Releasing in August 2016, "Dead by Daylight's" first Chapter introduced the game's fourth Killer, the Nurse, who has the ability to teleport herself (or chain-teleport) herself a distance to reach the Survivors. Alongside The Nurse the game saw the arrival of new Survivor Nea Karlsson, whose Urban Evasion and Balanced Landing perks became popular meta selections.

It was also the release that heralded the first new map realm, Crotus Prenn Asylum, which brought with it the Disturbed Ward map in its first appearance. All three other realm options were core, released with the main "Dead by Daylight" game upon launch.

Answer: Decisive Strike

The game's first licensed content, 'The Halloween Chapter' brought the player to Haddonfield, the setting of the classic John Carpenter horror flick "Halloween". The Haddonfield map, set on Lampkin Lane, features a number of two-storey houses including the Strode House in its center. Laurie Strode, played by Jamie Lee Curtis in the original film, is the added Survivor this time and she brings Decisive Strike, which allows one to escape the Killer's grasp under the right circumstances.

The Killer is The Shape-- Michael Myers-- and his newly-added perks revolve around the Obsession mechanic.

Answer: Hex Totems

Although Hex Totems were introduced with earlier Killers (and as a base Killer perk with No One Escapes Death and Thrill of the Hunt), The Hag introduced three: Hex: Devour Hope, Hex: Ruin, and Hex: The Third Seal. It leans into her appeal as a backwoods witch who uses Phantasm Traps, planting them to burst out at Survivors if they aren't careful (or flashing the ground with flashlights).

The Survivor to show up in this chapter is Ace Visconti whose perks rely on luck bonuses and items and the map to be introduced was Backwater Swamp.

Answer: The Doctor

Introducing the indoor Léry's Memorial Institute map, "Spark of Madness" marked the debut of The Doctor, who could use the power of Shock Therapy to subdue Survivors from short ranges (or with long-range bursts on occasion. Players zapped with electricity wouldn't be hurt for it, but they would accrue madness tokens which, once players hit a certain rank, would hinder their actions and create alerts for the Killer to follow.

The Survivor added in this one was Feng Min, whose technical prowess and dexterity made her valuable, at least for her Perks.

Answer: Red Forest

Bringing the Huntress, the game's first ranged Killer, into the roster, the "A Lullaby For the Dark" chapter evoked the terrors derived from Russian folklore, bringing a masked, hatchet-wielding character in as the foe to face in the Red Forest, a dark realm containing a large log cabin.

The chapter also brought David King in as a Survivor, introducing perks into the game to increase chances of escape and, in a lot of ways, foolhardiness.

One of the game's major early gets in terms of licensed DLC, "A Nightmare on Elm Street" became the environment created for the game's sixth chapter. In addition to Freddy Krueger, brought into the fog with unique dream mechanics, the ability to teleport to generators, and the power to bring people into a deep sleep state, the chapter also brought players to the Badham Preschool map, originally appearing in the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" reboot. Also featured this time around was the playable Survivor Quentin Smith, originally portrayed by Kyle Gallner in the 2010 film.

Answer: Jigsaw Boxes

"The Saw Chapter" further complicated the typical style of gameplay by adding in Reverse Beartraps. Taken as a nod to the "Saw" franchise, these traps, when placed onto the head of a dying Survivor by the chapter's killer (The Pig) would start a game; the Survivor needed to hunt around the map, trying their hand at skill-check-focused traps, to try and remove the impediment before time ran out.

The chapter also introduced Detective Tapp, a Survivor based on Danny Glover's character from the original film.

Answer: Country musician

The first chapter released in "Dead by Daylight's" third year, The Clown was primarily a melee killer (short range on attacks), but had a ranged item known as the Afterpiece Tonic, an alchemical solution which, when thrown, created a cloud of intoxicating fog that would impede Survivors who passed through it.

In later reworks of the Killer, the Clown would also gain a second tonic to empower himself. This chapter's Survivor, Kate Denson, has roots in the country music scene and her perks are named to lean into her experiences in the industry.

The map introduced with this chapter was the first (since The Nurse was introduced) to feature Crotus Prenn Asylum.

Answer: Japan

"Shattered Bloodline" was the first DLC to feature an Asian-inspired Killer and map, introducing The Spirit, a ghoulish creature able to phase through reality and attack with her samurai sword, and the Yamaoka's Estate map, specifically the Family Residence, which featured Japanese-inspired architecture and plantlife. Players would see this setting and aesthetic again in the game's fourteenth chapter, "Cursed Legacy", when The Oni was released. "Shattered Bloodlines'" Survivor was Adam Francis.

Answer: Jeff

Jeff Johansen is actually the Survivor of this chapter while Frank, Julie, Joey, and Suzie are the members that make up The Legion, the interchangeable, all-too-human Killers introduced in "Darkness Among Us". Only one is played in any match, but they're more adaptable in any realm than most Killers, able to vault dropped pallets and windows in a frenzied state.

The catch is that in this frenzy, The Legion can inflict deep wounds on Survivors, forcing them to mend in short time or fall into the dying state.

The map introduced this time was the Mount Ormond Resort, a ski chalet.
