Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who of the Following is NOT a Jedi?

Answer: Mission Vao

There are three Jedi on your team, one for each class: Bastilla (Sentinel), Juhani (Guardian), and Jolee (Consular). Your main character is the fourth Jedi and can be any one of these three classes.

Mission is a Scoundrel, one of the three non-Jedi classes. There is also the Soldier (Carth and Canderous) and the Scout (Zaalbar). You can choose which of these three classes your character will start off as, before he/she becomes a Jedi.

Your character's levels are split between the two classes that you choose, with all levels gained on Taris going toward your original class, and all levels after going into your Jedi class, with the combined total not exceeding 20. This can make your character more diverse, and gives him/her more class-specific feats, other characters, who can reach level 20 in their single class, can become quite strong in their respective areas with all their focus going into a single class.
2. Which planet is aboreal?

Answer: Kashyyyk

Kashyyyk is covered in tall trees that are kilometers high. The Wookiees have made their homes in and amongst the higher branches. The planet's surface, known as the Shadowlands, is covered with large and dangerous beasts, and Wookiees only travel down for the rite of passage.
3. What creatures infest your ship on Tatooine?

Answer: Gizka

Gizka are small bipeds that look somewhat like large frogs. On Tatooine, an Asqualish will load a shipment of them onto your ship, and then run away once he he's realized that he made a mistake. They are harmless creatures, and can be removed in a variety of ways. One way is to poison one, who will then go and infect the others, killing them all.

There is a Selkath on Manaan who is looking for exotic creatures to put in a new zoo. He'll not be too impressed with Gizka, having already had troubles with them before, but he can be persuaded to take them off your hands. Finally, if you leave them on your ship, they'll exit once you reach the Unknown World (Rakata Prime).
4. What was the name of the large Firaxin Shark?

Answer: The Progenitor

The Progenitor was a large Firaxan Shark, believed to be a common ancestor to both the wild Firaxan Sharks and the bipedal Selkath. When the Republic started construction of a secret research facility down in the Hrakert Rift, the Progenitor was disturbed by the noise, and sent out signals turning the Selkath feral and making the existing sharks even more aggressive. You can reverse these effects by either destroying the facility, or by poisoning the Progenitor.
5. Which of the following character combinations not possible?

Answer: Trask & Jolee

Trask was the first character to join your party in the game, on the Endar Spire. He gave you a basic tutorial while running through the ship, and sacrificed himself by holding off a Dark Jedi (Darth Bandon) while you headed for the escape pods. All other characters joined you after this point, so there is no possibility of having Trask in your party with any other character.
6. Who is the last opponent you can face in the duel ring on Taris?

Answer: Bendak Starkiller

Deadeye Duncan, Gerlon Two-Fingers, and Ice are the first three member of the dueling ring. They're all pretty easy. Next comes Marl, and then Twitch. These are the five official duelers. Bendak Starkiller wears golden Mandalorian Armor and is proficient with both blasters and melee weapons (and grenades).

After seeing your skill, he will offer you a duel, but only a death match. You can talk to Ajuur the Hutt to set up this illegal event. If you do defeat Starkiller, you can then talk to Zax in the Lower City Cantina to receive a bounty for Starkiller.
7. Which character in your party has a neutral allignment?

Answer: T3-M4

T3-M4 is the only completely neutral character in the game. THe next closest would be Jolee, who is just slightly tilting towards the Light Side. Mission Vao is the most Light Sided character in your party, while HK-47 is the most Dark Side oriented.
8. What is in the mysterious box that you are suppossed to deliver to Motta the Hutt on Tatooine (and told not to open)?

Answer: A Mind Trap

The Mind Trap, also known as the Rakatan Prison, is an ancient prison designed to take someone's mind and seal it away. If you open the box, you'll find the mind of a Rakatan trapped inside. He explains that he has been trapped for thousands of years and has forgotten even his own name.

His body wasted away a long while ago, and he is seeking freedom, however, there is only one body outside the trap that can be used. He says that he cannot enter your body without your consent, but that you cannot leave the prison without his help, and being in a virtual reality world, physical contests would not be an accurate method to settle the dispute over who gets to leave. Thus, it boils down to a battle of the wits (to the death!). You swap riddles until someone is unable to answer.

The Rakatan is not very good with numbers, and you will eventually be able to use a riddle with large amounts of unnecessary calculations to fool him.
9. What is the name of the bounty hunters' guild that you can complete contracts for?

Answer: The Genoharadan

The Genoharadan is a secret bounty hunter guild that has apparently had a hand in political events for thousands of years, covertly ensuring the continued existence of the Republic by removing special targets. You will be given a number of rewards for completing contracts, but you will always gain Dark Side Points.

You will be approached by a member, Senni Vek, when you enter a spaceport after having found your second Star Map (after defeating Calo Nord). He will try to give you a datapad that you apparently "dropped". If you look at it, it will have a single message telling you to contact Hulas on Manaan, alone.
10. Out of the following planets, on which one do you not confront any Dark Jedi?

Answer: You confront Dark Jedi on all these planets

There are Dark Jedi on every planet. There is only one on Taris, and he does not use a lightsaber, but still has Force powers. Dantooine has Juhani, who you can convert to the Light Side or kill.

On the next three planets (Tatooine, Manaan, Kashyyyk) there are three groups of three Sith that will confront you (and use the exact same dialogue). On Tatooine, they're in Anchorhead, on Manaan, they are in the Sith Embassy, and on Kashyyyk, they're on the Great Walkway. Korriban, being the home of the Sith Academy, is loaded with Sith, though you may be able to get by without fighting too many of them.

Rakata has Rakatans and Mandalorians on it outside the temple, but the interior is riddled with Sith. The Star Forge also has many Sith that you have to fight through, along with troops and droids.
