Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. If we are talking to Saul Karath?

Answer: The Leviathan

The only time the player character actually speaks to Saul Karath is onboard his ship, the Leviathan, after the party has been taken prisoner.

Saul was Carth Onasi's old commanding officer, and the reason for Carth's inability to trust anyone. Carth originally trusted Saul before Saul betrayed the Republic, along with many men under his command (many of whom were Carth's trusted friends) to join the Sith under Revan. One of his tasks was to decimate the world of Telos, Carth's home world, resulting in the death of Carth's wife, and the disappearance of his son.
2. If we are in the cantinas?

Answer: Taris

There are two planets with cantinas: Taris and Tatooine, though the ones in Taris are much more interesting. In the upper city cantina on Taris, you can participate in the dueling ring to get some early experience and money. In the lower city cantina, you can get information, and collect on bounties, some legitimate, some not as much.
3. If we are fighting Sand People?

Answer: Tatooine

Sand People are only found on Tatooine and there are quite a few quests that involve dealing with them. You will have to deal with them one way or another (Light Side or Dark Side) in order to eventually reach the Starmap on Tatooine. In order to carry out the Light Side versions, you'll need to purchase HK-47 to translate for you.

There are also optional quests, such as freeing the Jawas and Mission's brother, Griff, from the Sand People.
4. If we are setting up a double-double cross (a quest)?

Answer: Korriban

On Korriban, one of the things the Sith will try to teach you is self-sufficiency and treachery. Yuthura Ban, the apprentice of the head of the academy, Uthar Wynn, will try to entice you to help her overthrow her master. If you tell this to Uthar, he will offer you the chance to help him destroy his apprentice (double cross quest).

After that, you can then return to Yuthura and plan to scam Uthar (double-double cross quest).
5. If we are in Ahto City?

Answer: Manaan

Ahto City is the only above-water city on Manaan, and was made for travelers to come to Manaan in order to export kolto, a miracle drug whose effects rival those of bacta. Manaan is also neutral in the war, and neither side wants to force the Selkath (the native species) into choosing a side, as they sell the kolto to both sides. For this, the Republic and Sith have to coexist peacefully on Manaan, and both sides are trying to entice the other into attacking, breaking Manaan's no-violence laws, which would cause them to take a side in the war.
6. If we are in the Hrakert Rift?

Answer: Manaan

The Hrakert Rift is where kolto is naturally produced and harvested. The Republic, with the help of a few Selkath, set up an underground research station in the rift where they were attempting to synthesize kolto away from the eyes of the Sith. The machinery of the facility upset the Progenitor, a large Firaxin Shark, and it send out sound waves that drove the Selkath crazy, killing all non-Selkath in the facility. Before you can reach the Star Map on Manaan, you need to remove the Progenitor, whether it be by destroying the facility so it will leave in peace (Light Side) or by poisoning the Progenitor and keeping the facility intact (Dark Side).
7. If we are hunting Wraids?

Answer: Tatooine

Wraids show up on two worlds: Tatooine and Korriban. They are large and vicious, but not very bright, and are often targeted by hunters for their plates, which can be sold for a decent amount of credits.
8. If we are in a Wookiee city?

Answer: Kashyyyk

Kashyyyk is the home world of the Wookiee species. Wookiees built their cities high up in the kilometer-tall wroshyr trees, as predators lived on the forest floor, known as the Shadow Lands. During the events in "Knights of the Old Republic", the Wookiees were being enslaved by Czerka Corporation for profit, a galaxy-spanning corporation. You have the option to either aid Czerka (Dark Side), or drive them off and free the Wookiees (Light Side).
9. If we are talking to Dustil Onasi?

Answer: Korriban

If you talk to Carth enough, he will tell you history in pieces, eventually telling you about his wife who perished on Telos, and his missing son. You can then run into one of Carth's old friends who will tell you that Carth's son, Dustil, is still alive, and at the Sith Academy. You can then go to the Sith Academy and meet Dustil, though he holds a rather strong grudge against his father for abandoning the family to fight in the wars.

The only way to convince Dustil that the Sith are evil is to sneak into Uthar Wynn's chambers and steal a datapad detailing the "expulsion" of his friend, Selene, who apparently showed little talent for the Sith arts.
10. If we are fighting Bastilla?

Answer: Rakata Prime

On the Leviathan, after Saul Karath is killed, and you are making your way to the Ebon Hawk to escape, you will be confronted by Darth Malak. Bastilla will eventually run to fight Malak, sealing the door behind her, with the intent of sacrificing herself in order to allow you and Carth to escape.

Instead of killing Bastilla, Malak takes her prisoner. He then offers for her to become his apprentice, and at first she refuses, but falls to the Dark Side.At the top of the temple on Rakata Prime, you have the option of either fighting Bastilla, or to give into the Dark Side, and betray your party members. Should you choose the Light Side, Bastilla will escape, and you will have to fight her a second time on the Star Forge.
