Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Artillery

Answer: NOD

The Artillery is a mobile cannon used by the Brotherhood of NOD. It can be produced for $975 per unit once a NOD War Factory has been constructed. The Artillery is a good long range defensive weapon used to attack enemy units that are getting too close to your base. The Artillery's cannon is so strong that the unit needs to deploy stabilizers in order to absorb the weapon's recoil.
2. Attack Buggy

Answer: NOD

The Attack Buggy is a four wheel drive vehicle used by the Brotherhood of NOD. It can be constructed for $500 once the NOD War Factory is constructed. Some missions and PvP scenarios will have an Attack Buggy as a default unit. It is used primarily as a scout vehicle to map the terrain and discover mission objectives and/or enemy bases.

The Attack Cycle, another NOD vehicle, is used in a similar role.
3. Banshee

Answer: NOD

The Banshee is an attack aircraft used by the Brotherhood of NOD. It is a sleek VTOL forward swept-wing fighter that becomes available once a NOD Helipad is constructed. It costs $1,500 per unit. It is used as an aerial attack unit along with the Harpy helicopter. The Banshee is equipped with dual plasma cannons which it can use against enemy ground vehicles and structures.
4. Cyborg

Answer: NOD

The Cyborg is a military unit used by the Brotherhood of NOD. It becomes available once the Hand of NOD is constructed. Each cyborg unit costs $650 to produce. The cyborg is a tough unit. It will continue fighting even after it's lower body is destroyed. If you build a Temple of NOD at your base, you could then construct the more powerful Cyborg Commando unit for $2,000.
5. Disruptor

Answer: GDI

The Disruptor is a hovering tank-like vehicle used by the GDI. The Disruptor destroys its targets by hitting them with devastating sound waves. The Disruptor can be purchased for $1,300 using the GDI War Factory once a GDI Tech Center is built. The Disruptor can damage multiple targets that are within range of its weapon.
6. Engineer

Answer: BOTH

The engineer is a unit that is utilized by both the GDI and NOD faction. The engineer is an important unit as it can allow the user to take over an enemy's base. Players will often send in waves of engineers to secretly take over key structures such as the Tiberium Refineries and Construction Yards.

They can also repair broken bridges and heavily damaged buildings. Engineers cost $500 and can be created once a GDI Barracks or a Hand of NOD have been constructed.
7. Ghost Stalker

Answer: GDI

The Ghost Stalker or Ghostalker is a powerful military unit used by the GDI. The unit is equipped with a railgun and has the ability to one-shot kill many enemy units and vehicles. The Ghost Stalker can also take out enemy structures using C4 explosives.

It costs $1,750 to train a Ghost Stalker. The unit becomes available from the GDI Barracks once the GDI Tech Center has been constructed.
8. Harvester

Answer: BOTH

The Harvester is a unit that is essential for both factions. It is a truck designed to harvest the tiberium ore that is found scattered across the land. The harvester will return the ore to Tiberium Refineries where it is then converted into cash. You will receive one harvester for every Tiberium Refinery you construct. Additional harvesters can be created by the War Factory of each faction.
9. Hunter Seeker

Answer: BOTH

The Hunter Seeker is a droid that is utilized by both factions. It is a mobile bomb capable of destroying most enemy vehicles and structures with one blow. For the GDI, the Hunter Seeker will be available once an Upgrade Center is constructed and the Seeker Control adaptor is placed on it. For the Brotherhood of NOD, the Hunter Seeker will become available after constructing a Temple of NOD.
10. Light Infantry

Answer: BOTH

Light Infantry are units that are available for both factions. They are the gun fodder and basic soldiers for both the GDI and NOD. Light infantry costs $125 per unit. Single soldiers can be used to scout terrain, but at a slower pace than vehicles. When attacking it is often good strategy to build large groups of infantry as they tend to get mowed down pretty quickly. Light infantry units become available once the GDI Barracks or Hand of NOD have been constructed.
11. Mammoth Mk. II

Answer: GDI

The Mammoth Mk. II is a large four-legged walking tank used by the GDI. It can be constructed from the GDI War Factory for $3,000 per unit once the GDI Tech Center is built. The Mammoth Mk. II is a formidable offensive and defensive unit, but it is at a disadvantage when it comes to speed. It is equipped with railguns, machine guns and SAM batteries.
12. MCV

Answer: BOTH

MCV stands for Mobile Construction Vehicle and it is used by both factions. In many missions and PvP scenarios it is the first and only unit you start out with. The MCV becomes a Construction Yard when deployed. The Construction Yard is the most essential structure for each base. Additional MCV's can be built at each faction's War Factory for $2,500 in the event your primary Construction Yard gets captured or destroyed.
13. Tick Tank

Answer: NOD

The Tick Tank is a NOD vehicle that can be purchased for $800 per unit from the War Factory. The Tick Tank has the ability to dig itself partially into the ground. Its primary turret will reposition itself to the top of the unit. The tank becomes more durable to damage when it is in its deployed state, which makes it a good unit to use for base defense.
14. Titan

Answer: GDI

The Titan is a weaponized vehicle used by the GDI faction. It is a large bipedal walking tank equipped with a long cannon on its right side. The Titan can be constructed at the War Factory for $800 per unit. Players will often construct hoards of Titans in order to infiltrate and destroy enemy bases.
15. Wolverine

Answer: GDI

The Wolverine is a weaponized bipedal mech suit used by the GDI military. It is used in a scouting capacity similar to the Attack Buggy on the NOD side and can be used offensively in groups. Wolverine units can be built for $500 once the War Factory is constructed. It is equipped with mini-guns that serve as the arms of the mech.
