Answer: Final Fantasy

The "Final Fantasy" games are one of Japan's biggest sellers. To date, at least sixteen games have been made, with "Final Fantasy XIII" being the latest. All "Final Fantasy" games seem to have a similar storyline: Bad guy bent on world domination or destruction, and a team of makeshift heroes ready to destroy them.

Answer: Super Mario

Mario has been around as a main character in a game since 1983, but also appeared in one of the first "Donkey Kong" games, in 1981. The "Super Mario" industry holds several records, including being the most successful game brand to date, with over 70 different games.

Answer: Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic was Sega's biggest moneymaker before the industry collapsed. Sonic has made it onto the television, and is still making and selling games today (not him personally, of course, he's a game character). Eggman is the name of the bad guy in most Japanese versions. In other versions, he's more commonly known as Dr. Robotnik.

Answer: Pokemon

"Pokemon" has also been one of Japan's biggest game industries. It has been going since 1995, and the popularity has grown massively since then. Over twenty official games have been created by GameFreak, and there are literally thousands of unofficial versions that can be downloaded online!

Answer: Gran Turismo

The "Gran Turismo" games have been out since 1999, and have challenged people ever since, with the stunning graphics, and cars that you would only normally see in someone else's wildest dreams!

The "Gran Turismo" games feature many tracks that exist in real life like Laguna Seca, Monte Carlo, and The Nurburgring. There are also a few that can be found on Google Earth if you look in the right places...

Answer: Rayman

"Rayman" came onto the screens in 1998 as a creation of UbiSoft. He can punch things several metres away by detaching his floating arms from his body. He is there to save the world from Mister Dark, who threatens to take all the Electoons, and thus remove all hope and happiness from the world.

Answer: Killer Instinct

"Killer Instinct" was created by the renowned 'Rare' industries, best known for creating the "Donkey Kong Country" series. Players in this game can be impaled, set on fire, blown up, melted into a pool of lava, or in one case, eaten! If you like blood and gore, you'll love "Killer Instinct".

Answer: Sly

"Sly" is a game about the master thief Sly Cooper and his gang, Murray the Hippo and Bentley the Turtle, as they seek out the Fiendish Five to recover his family's 'Thievius Raccoonus'. Distantly related to the "Ratchet and Clank" games, "Sly" incorporates some rarely before seen techniques, including stealth.

Answer: Crash Bandicoot

Apart from the four main "Crash Bandicoot" games, there have been several smaller games in the series, like "Crash Nitro Kart Racing", for example. Strangely enough, Crash doesn't say a single word in any of the games. You get a couple of sounds out of him every now and again, (mainly things like 'Ouch!' and 'Ow!'), but he never actually says a real word. I wonder why...

Answer: Jak and Daxter

"Jak and Daxter" is a hilarious game with more cliches than you can throw a stick at. It is distantly related to the "Crash Bandicoot" games, and again, interestingly, Jak doesn't say a word for the whole of the game, mainly because Daxter interrupts his every attempt!

Note: Jak does, however, start talking in the sequel: "Jak II: Renegade".

Answer: Ratchet and Clank

Serial Number B5429671, otherwise known as Clank, is the adorable, although slightly pessimistic robot who aids Ratchet in his travels around the world to try and find Captain Qwark, because he can apparently help them save the world. There are several games in the "Ratchet and Clank" series, for the PS2, PS3 and PSP.

Answer: Lemmings

"Lemmings" is a game about loveable little idiots that you will do whatever you tell them to, because they don't know any better! They were originally found on the Amiga, but have since been found on the SNES, PC, Mac, Xbox, PS1, PS2 and PS3, as well as multiple Sega consoles.

Answer: Bubble Trouble

One of 'Ambrosia's best loved games, "Bubble Trouble" is a lesser known action game available for Mac and Windows Operating Systems, although it's found predominantly on Mac OS X nowadays. You are one fish, and your objective is to swim around the fish tank squishing other fish by pushing bubbles into them.

It's quite often at least 5 against 1, so you're gonna need all the luck you can get!

Answer: Donkey Kong

Mario and Donkey Kong have been together in several games, whether it be indirectly ("Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest"), or as main characters, in "Mario vs. Donkey Kong" for example. When they're together, Donkey Kong's nearly always the bad guy.

Answer: Theme Park

"Theme Park" (or "Mac Theme Park") is a lesser known game most commonly found on the older Macs. Some other games from 'Bullfrog' are "Syndicate", and "Theme Hospital". In "Syndicate", you are a team of mercenary spies trained to stop all forms of resistance. In "Theme Hospital" you, uh, run a hospital.

All the more memorable characters from several "Final Fantasy" games can be found here. You may see Selphie, Rikku, Yuna and Paine among others in this game. As for the Disney characters, they've pretty much added everyone they could think of into the game, including Pluto, Donald, Mickey and Minnie Mouse!

The original "Metal Gear" came out in 1989, with 2D graphics, on a few different consoles, including the Amiga. After a long break, "Metal Gear Solid" came out in 1998 on the PS1, and has been successfully making sequels ever since.

"Call of Duty" is one of the world's best selling war games to date. With stunning realism and amazing graphics, this game will have you glued until you either complete it, or fall asleep from exhaustion!

Answer: Timesplitters

"Timesplitters" has everything you could possibly want in a game! It has awesome high tech guns, the most original humor you'll ever find, and... MONKEYS!

Everyone loves a monkey, especially if it's a Ninja Monkey! Or a Robot Monkey! But don't forget the Zombie Monkey, and the loveable classic ordinary Monkey!

Answer: Dynasty Warriors

"Dynasty Warriors" is the true meaning of gore! Pretty much everyone in this game has a weapon that can easily disembowel their opponent. It can be almost anything, from a dagger to an axe that's three feet in diameter(there are even two people who have sharpened Kimono Fans)! No matter what you want in a game, "Dynasty Warriors" has it!
