Pajama Sam: No Need to Hide When It's Dark Outside Quiz

The items Sam needs to find are a Pajama Man lunchbox, a flashlight and a Pajama Man mask. They can be hidden in and under several things, including the drawers, the mat, Sam's bed and a bucket. Once you have them all, you can click on the big door and enter the Land of Darkness!

Answer: Rope

Sam gets the rope after untying himself. The trees have scattered Sam's items across the Land of Darkness. Sam will need to explore the place to find them. After he does, he can confront Darkness in his house! That bit of rope will come in handy...

Each of the three items Sam needs can be hidden in 1 of 2 different places. This allows you to play the game more than once without it getting repetitive!

Answer: Throw a plank onto water

Throwing the wooden plank onto the water proves to Otto that wood does float. Otto can then dive onto the water with confidence that he won't sink!

Otto the boat actually appears in two other games in the series. In "Pajama Sam 2: Thunder and Lightning Aren't So Frightening", you can see Otto on a picture outside the World Wide Weather offices. In "Pajama Sam's Lost & Found", an action game, you have to ride on Otto and find all the many items that Sam have lost while avoiding various obstacles.

The real question is, how did the trees not catch him? Don't they realize that trees don't have red capes and can't move around?

On the other side of the trees, there's a fair amount of stuff to see. On some games, you'll need to grab a carrot from a garden that's lying around.

Sometimes, you'll need to take note of what color the flowers are. This is needed to win a multiple choice trivia game show inside Darkness' house. The questions during this show are ridiculously easy, with many of them having three or four answers that are correct.

Other times, access to the well will be blocked by some foliage. This means you'll have to find another way around...

Answer: Oil

The oilcan can always be found outside a shack near the docks. Oil is also used to lubricate the door handle at the shack, which may or may not be missing.

King is also seen in "Pajama Sam's Lost & Found".

Answer: Gold

To reach the gold in the mines, Sam must navigate through a fast-paced maze. Once Sam finds the gold, he can then use a pickaxe to mine it. Depending on where Sam's items are hidden, he may need to use the gold to get through a stone gate.

Answer: Purple, green and blue

The blue bottle may be missing from the table. If so, you can find it on top of a nearby bookcase. Standing on the talking red chair will allow you to reach it.

After drinking the invisibility potion, you will become invisible, of course! It just might come in handy for sneaking around some dancing furniture!

Answer: Music room

The oars can be found high above the ground, attached to a wall. Reaching the oars is a multi-step process. First, Sam has to jump on top of the piano stool. Then, he must leap on top of the piano keys and climb to the top of the piano.

Sam then has to grab on to a chandelier in the room. Swinging it back and forth, Sam can use the chandelier to grab on to the oars. towards the oars. Then, Sam simply pulls them off the wall!

Using the oars can give Otto enough speed to navigate past a current near the well.

Answer: Nuggets

Nuggets is played on the Remote Mining Terminal. The game shares many similarities with the video game "Centipede". You have to collect all the ores scattered across the screen to complete a level, without running into walls.

There are over one hundred levels to play. I've played for many hours and still haven't reached the end of it!

Answer: The one that's still in the cabinet

After opening the door, Sam attempts to vanquish Darkness, until he realizes that he's not that bad. Darkness tells Sam that he's more afraid of him, and that he never has anyone to play games with. This leads to Sam playing a game of Cheese and Crackers (essentially tic-tac-toe). When Sam wins, he's accomplished what he set out to do. He has "defeated" Darkness!
