"Pet Society" Trivia Quiz

Answer: Playfish

Playfish mainly makes social games on websites such as Facebook and MySpace. Their company claims on their official website that their mission is to "change the way people play games by creating more social and connected experiences". Other games they offer to play are "Bowling Buddies", "Who Has the Biggest Brain", and another one of my personal favourites, "Geo Challenge".

Answer: Hopscotch

When you first join "Pet Society", you are quickly awarded several toys, which are a frisbee, a ball, and a jump rope. You also get a bar of soap and a brush. As you increase in levels, your items get upgraded, working better and awarding more points.

Answer: Ten

As your make progress in various activities, such as shopping, jump roping, and racing, you get trophies which you can proudly display on your pet's wall. There are three levels for trophies - bronze, silver, and gold.

To get the silver trophy for the hurdle racing, you need to win 100 times, and for the gold, you must win 250 times.

Answer: The stadium

There are several buildings in the neighborhood of "Pet Society". Aside from your house and your friends' houses, you can visit the food store, clothing store, furniture store, the cafe, and the stadium, amongst others. In the stores, you can purchase items for your pet, your house, and you can mingle with other people's pets.

Answer: Hollywood Pet

The first level of "Pet Society" starts out at "Getting Started", the second is "New Arrival", the third is "Learner", and so on. Each time you up a level, you also are awarded 100 coins, to spend on whatever you would like.

Answer: A 7th room

You also get upgrades each time you advance a level. Whether your TV gets more modern, your soap gets more effective, or your house gets bigger, the time it takes to get Paw Points is definitely worth it. As time goes on though, you need more and more Paw Points to climb to the next level.

For example, to get from level to five to level six, you only need 500 points. But to upgrade from level 25 to 26, you need to gain 5,000 Paw Points - not a quick and easy feat.

Answer: Blue

To the right side the screen, it shows your pet's hygiene, hunger level, and happiness level. The hygiene level is blue when full, the happiness level green, and the hunger, red. If you fail to use the soap on your pet, it's hygiene level goes down, giving your pet flies.

It's true! If you are ever short on money, just take a stroll, running through all the trees on the game. With every few trees you run through, you will gain a coin or so. You can also gain money through the lottery, jump roping, playing ball, racing, or playing frisbee.

Answer: 1,000

Although it is rare, it is possible to win 1,000 coins in the daily lottery. The more coins you have on hand when you log in that day, the bigger your chance is of getting it. So say if you have 5,000 coins when you log in, you have a much better chance of getting the 1,000 prize than you would if you only had 50 coins.

Not a myth. When your pet is well-fed, has a full happiness bar, and has a hygiene of only 40% or less, your pet will probably poo (if you attempt to sell the poo, it will only sell for one coin). Rarely, very rarely, your pet's poo will be gold (which can be sold for 20 coins). Golden poo is treasured amongst players of "Pet Society", and is often placed on shelves next to the trophies.
