26. How many different steps or arrows are there that can be hit?
Note: This includes both pads if played with two people.
From Quiz "Pump It Up", Not "DDR"
Answer:
Ten
Unlike "Dance Dance Revolution", with four, or "In The Groove", which has eight arrows total, "Pump It Up" has ten. The set-up is like "Dance Dance Revolution", but instead of the arrows being configurated up-down-left-right, the arrows are turned 45 degrees to be on the corners and an extra arrow is placed in the middle, allowing, in my opinion, better movement and flow while stepping on them.
I believe there are no stepping games that have seven total arrows. However, "Technomotion," another dancing game, does have eighteen steps, one for each section of the square!
