Answer: Return of the Jedi: Death Star Battle

"Return of the Jedi: Death Star Battle" (1983) was the first video game to be released based upon the third movie of the Star Wars franchise. The game was released first for the Atari Game Console in 1983 and then for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum in 1984.

The game is played in two stages. In the first, players control the Millenium Falcon in a dogfight against enemy fighters waiting for a chance to pass through the energy field of the space station. In the second stage, the Millenium Falcon takes on the Death Star. Once the reactor is destroyed the player must get away before being destroyed by the explosion. Once a player is successful the game restarts at a higher level of difficulty.

Answer: Star Trek: Legacy

"Star Trek: Legacy" was released for the XBOX 360 in late 2006. A version was also released for Windows-based PCs. The space combat game was released to coincide with the 40th anniversary of Star Trek. Players take control of a fleet of Federation starships and fight their way through three different Star Trek eras against various enemy races.

The game begins in the Enterprise Era under Captain Jonathan Archer. Then the player is able to assume the role of Captain James T. Kirk at the command of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) from the original series. Finally, players progress to the command of vessels from the Next Generation era.

"Battlestar Galactica" (2007) is a game that was released for Microsoft Windows and Xbox Live Arcade by Sierra and Auran. The video game was based on the first two seasons of the modern version of television's famed "Battlestar Galactica" series. Players assume the role of Viper Pilots and participate in major battles from the show. The video game received only average reviews by critics.

"Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock" received mostly low to average reviews from critics. The game was developed by Supermassive Games, produced by Simon Harris, and published by BBC Worldwide Digital Entertainment. Players take on the role of the Doctor or his partner River Song. Their mission is to travel to different places in order to gather pieces of the Eternity Clock. The game is a series of decisions and puzzles and players have to encounter Silurians, Daleks, Cybermen, and The Silence along the journey.

"Star Wars: Flight of the Falcon" was released in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance and is published by THQ. The storyline introduces Han Solo and Chewbacca as the co-pilots of the Millenium Falcon as the player joins them to fight against the Galactic Empire.

The game is a shooter game in 3D and also allows the player to choose different vehicles including the cool X-wing fighter plane. There are a total of 14 missions in the game that loosely follow storylines from the Star Wars movies. Players must battle against TIE Fighters, Star Destroyers and Boba Fett's Slave Ship. Reviews for the game were mixed with players loving the sounds and music but not enjoying the repetitiveness of some of the levels.

Answer: Aliens vs Predator

The UD-4L Cheyenne Dropship is a vehicle that appears in the 1986 movie "Aliens". The Dropship is a heavily armored vessel with limited maneuverability. It is mainly used as a fast descent vehicle from larger spaceships. The Cheyenne has been used to inspire many game development companies such as the Pelican dropships in Bungie games and the Quantradyne APOD-33 dropships in "Starcraft".

The UD-4L is also used as a Marine gunship resource in the Aliens vs. Predator 2 game and more exclusively in the "Aliens vs. Predator 3" (2010) game.

In the latter the dropship is called the Typhoon. "Aliens vs. Predator" is a first-person shooter video game. It was developed by Rebellion Developments and published by Sega for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and also Microsoft Windows.

The characters and creatures within the game are based upon the Alien vs. Predator franchise.

Answer: Flash Gordon

"Flash Gordon" was developed by Sirius Software and published by 20th Century Fox in 1983 for the Atari 2600 Video Game Console. The more technologically advanced gameplayers today would not enjoy the game, but back in the 1980's the split-screen format was something quite original for gameplayers. Unfortunately, the game itself has little to do with the movie other than the fact the player is piloting Flash Gordon's War Rocket Ajax spaceship and the game cover has a picture of Flash Gordon and the villain Ming.

"Futurama" was the creation of Matt Groening and aired successfully from 1999 till 2003. It was then revised for a second run from 2007. The "Futurama" video game was a single-player 3D game released in 2003. The game was made available for the PS2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube. Perhaps the most interesting part of the game is the cutscenes that are presented as a lost episode of Futurama. Players assume the role of one of four characters -- Fry, Leela, Bender, or Zoidberg. Gameplay involves a mixture of platforming and shooting as the characters attempt to save the Planet Earth.

In 1985, the Commodore 64 game let players man Thunderbird 1 and 2 in an exploration of labyrinths. In 1989, the Thunderbirds were back in action on Commodore Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, Atari and ZX Spectrum. A year later Activision released an NES version of the same Thunderbirds game. In 2000, Sci Games published a Game Boy version of the Thunderbirds game and a year later there was a Game Boy Advance Game called "Thunderbirds: International Rescue". Finally, in July of 2007, a "Thunderbirds" game was released for PlayStation 2 in Europe. Unfortunately the North American release was canceled. In the PlayStation version, players can control any of 20 vehicles in a number of different adventure scenarios in the year 2065.

The five Thunderbird craft that most fans are familiar with include: Thunderbird 1 -- A hypersonic rocket plane.
Thunderbird 2 -- Supersonic vertical takeoff and landing carrier capable of lifting and transporting other vehicles.
Thunderbird 3 -- Re-usable single-stage-to-orbit spacecraft used for space travel.
Thunderbird 4 -- Submersible craft used for underwater rescues.
Thunderbird 5 -- Space station in Earth orbit monitoring calls for help from across the planet.

Answer: Star Trek: Tactical Assault

"Star Trek: Tactical Assault" was introduced in 2006 for the Nintendo DS and PSP platforms. The game was published by Bethesda Softworks and developed by Quicksilver Software. The game features two different campaigns, a starfleet campaign set in 2284 and a Klingon campaign set after the Khitomer Massacre of 2346. In single-player mode the Federation ships are the Constitution and Miranda Class and also the Klingon D7 and Bird of Prey. The multiplayer version features head-to-head battle between two players with the option of 20 playable ships from the Federation, Klingon, Gorn, Orion, or Romulan races.
