1. What is the name of the newspaper the paperboy delivers for?

Answer: The Daily Sun

The first thing that you see when you turn the game on. It is shown at the top of a screenshot that looks like a newspaper's front page.

2. What type of people do they show first when telling you whom to deliver to?

Answer: Customers

This is shown after you tell the game how many players you want. It's when they are showing you what houses you are supposed to deliver to. The customers are shown in a light color and the non-customers are shown in a dark color. On the NES game they are shown in red and white.

3. How many points do you get for getting a paper in a mailbox?

Answer: 750

You have to be strategic about this. If you throw too early than it hits the front steps and if you throw to late then it hits a window and you lose a customer.

4. What baffles police when the game ends?

Answer: Mysterious vandalism

This is the screen that is shown when you lose all your lives. It's the same newspaper front page that is shown when you first start the game. This is shown, not in the main headline, but in the secondary headline.

5. What does the paperboy earn?

Answer: Honors and big bucks

This shown on the first screen before you do anything. This is in the newspaper screenshot yet again. It says it in the first minor headline.

6. Who made "The Paperboy"?

Answer: Atari

This is kind of hard as it was MADE by Atari and published by Nintendo. Screenmasters is a made up name and Sega is too new to have made this game.

7. What stops the dog from chasing you during the game?

Answer: A paper

You have to throw the paper directly at the dog's head. It chases you up the street if you don't hit it and you can miss houses along the way because of it.

8. How many points do you get for knocking over gravestones?

Answer: 400

This obviously isn't very nice, but it does get you points! Also if you hit the brick posts on some of these houses, you can get points as well. You can also knock the tops of the trees over as well as the garbage cans.

9. Who chases you from the houses?

Answer: A woman with a newspaper

If you get too close to the house the woman can knock you down. You have to go fast when you get to these houses because she will chase you up the street like the dog.

10. What is at the end of each street/day?

Answer: A training course

This is where you knock over hoops and walls to earn extra points. You also have to go over jumps, and if you don't do this fast enough, you will hit the puddles and crash. You can't lose men on this part of the game.
