The Aspen and Volare were know as F-Body cars. They replaced the A-Body cars, the Dodge Dart, Plymouth Duster, and Plymouth Valiant among others. The A Body cars were manufactured from 1960 until 1976. The F Body run only lasted 5 years until they were replaced by the K Car platform, considered by most as the car that saved Chrysler.
