'Why Does It Always Rain On Me' was the third single of Travis's second album, The Man Who, and hit number 10 on the UK singles chart and number 11 on the Australian chart. Travis is a Scottish band formed in 1990 featuring band members Fran Healy, Andy Dunlop, Dougie Payne and Neil Primrose. Their second and third albums; 'The Man Who' and 'The Invisible Band' respectively, both hit number 1 in UK charts and remained in the top 100 for 158 weeks total.

Coldplay, formed in 1996, covered 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me' in 2004. They are an alternative rock band and, in general share a similar audience demographic to Travis. They have won several Brit awards and Grammys, and have sold over 50 million records worldwide.

B*Witched are an Irish girl band comprising of twins Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Amarou, and Sinéad O'Carroll. They released their debut single, "C'est La Vie" in 1998, and were also known as "D'Zire" and then "Sister" before settling with their name B*Witched.

Unfortunately, they split in 2002 after a deal with Telstar Records fell through, however, more recently in 2010, the Lynch twins have remade the band with yet another new name - Barbarellas, albeit without Lindsay Amarou and Sinéad O'Carroll. The twins' brother, Shane Lynch, is a member of boy band Boyzone, and with "Blame It On the Weatherman", the twins actually knocked off Boyzone from the #1 spot in the UK charts. Good old sibling rivalry.

Although Gene Kelly's version, centrepiece of a film of the same name in 1952, is a popular primary association of this song, it was actually first performed by Doris Travis Eaton in the movie musical "Hollywood Music Box Revue" in 1929 (one of the earlier talking movies).

Sammy Davis Jr. was well known for being a member of the 'Rat Pack', and sung his version of "Singin' In The Rain" in 1973. Jamie Cullum is primarily a jazz artist and "Singin' In The Rain" featured in his album 'Twentysomething' in 2003. However, this song has been covered by many other sources, not including Felicity of course!

Wet Wet Wet is a boy band formed in the early 1980's and features primarily Marti Pellow, Tommy Cunningham, Graeme Clark and Neil Mitchell. Their 1994 cover of 'Love Is All Around' was their biggest hit at that point, topping the British charts for fifteen weeks and may have stayed longer had the band themselves not deleted the record from sale for being played too often. Even then, it still remained in the charts for the remainder of the year. This was perhaps their greatest success to date, which has not really been replicated since.

The Troggs are another boy band formed in 1964, and their version of 'Love Is All Around' was sung in 1967. It didn't achieve the same success as the Wet Wet Wet version in the charts, however, only managing fifth and seventh in the UK and US charts respectively, although it sold over a million copies anyway.

Sheryl Crow is an American singer and actress, born in 1962. 'Soak Up The Sun' was a part of her album "C'mon C'mon", released in 2002, hitting number one on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart, and number 5 on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart (now Adult Contemporary chart).

Whilst she started her solo career in the early 1990s, she has also been a backing singer on tour with the likes of Michael Jackson in the late eighties.

Answer: Katrina and the Waves

Katrina and the Waves are a mixed gender band consisting of four members - Katrina Leskanich, Alex Cooper, Kimberley Rew, and Vince de la Cruz. The band officially coined the name 'Katrina and the Waves' in 1982, although the members had associated with each other prior to that point in time. Although they were a UK based band, they struggled to gain a record contract, except in Canada, where they eventually went on tour, building their popularity.

Whilst 'Walking On Sunshine' was released in 1983, it was somewhat reformed for the worldwide release, which was very successful and most would agree it is their most well known song. Unfortunately, in the late 1980's, they struggled to achieve success with their 'Waves' album, and remained in obscurity for most of the 90's until they won the Eurovision song contest with their entry 'Love Shine A Light' in 1997. This gave them a small popularity boost, but they did not record together after that, and split up after fronting member Katrina left.

The Beatles are an English rock band, formed in 1960 and consisting of the members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison. They were active until 1969, when they recorded together for the last time (although a separate song was recorded in 1970 to complete an unfinished album). Although their split up was not clean, they still achieved great success in the time they were together. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, and are one of the biggest selling bands worldwide.

'I'll Follow the Sun' was a ballad recorded in 1964 in the UK, although it was written before then. It was released as part of their album 'Beatles for Sale', their fourth album at that point, which was number 1 in the UK charts for 11 out of the 46 weeks it spent in the top 20.

'Stormy Weather' was sung in 1933 originally by Ethel Waters, although other high profile singers, such as Frank Sinatra, Lena Horne and Ella Fitzgerald, have also covered it. Lena Horne's version also featured in a movie of the same name.

Ethel Waters was an American jazz, blues and gospel singer. Along with 'Stormy Weather', songs 'Am I Blue?' and 'Dinah' were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, celebrating special recordings of at least 25 years of age.

Kate Bush is an English singer who has an eclectic and unique musical style. She is probably best known for her song (written by herself) 'Wuthering Heights', based on Emily Bronte's only novel 'Wuthering Heights', which hit number one in the UK charts and has been her biggest selling song to date. She has claimed she wanted her songs to 'intrude' and 'put you against the wall'.

'Cloudbusting', whilst not achieving the success of 'Wuthering Heights', has an interesting backstory of its own. The song is based on 'A Book of Dreams', featuring a child's perspective of his father, who was arrested and imprisoned. Wilhelm Reich, the man in question, was a psychoanalyst who invented the cloudbuster, a device which in theory would promote the falling of rain. Whether it really works or not... Decide for yourself.

'Firework' was released in late 2010 by Katy Perry for her album 'Teenage Dream'. The song is geared to boost self-confidence particularly in teenagers, and has received positive reviews. It topped the Billboard Top 100 chart, and has had success worldwide. Her song 'I Kissed A Girl', released in 2008, boosted her from relative obscurity into the public eye, fickle though it may be at times, and she has enjoyed success since.

The lyrics in question are:
