"Caroline, No" made the Top Forty in the US for Brian. The song's original title was "Carol, I Know". Brian used a variety of session musicians on the recording so no members of the Beach Boys were part of the sessions. The two dogs heard at the end of the song were actually Brian's dogs, Banana and Louie.
"I Just Wasn't Made for These Times" was written by Brian Wilson and Tony Asher and was one of the two songs on the album that used a theremin. "Don't Talk (Put Your Head on My Shoulder)" was also written by Brian Wilson and Tony Asher. Mike Love sang lead vocals on "Here Today".
2. Which member of KISS released a US Number 13 single in 1979 titled "New York Groove"?

Ace Frehley left KISS four years after enjoying solo success with "New York Groove". The song was written by UK guitarist/writer Russ Ballard and recorded by a group called Hello four years earlier for their premier album, "Keeps Us Off The Streets".
When the members of Kiss each recorded a solo effort in the late seventies "New York Groove" was included on Ace's album.
His single achieved the highest slot on the US charts of other members of the band at the time the four solo records were released. It became a regular song on KISS' concert tours as well as Ace's solo shows after leaving the band.
Criss' first solo album after leaving KISS in 1980 was "Out of Control". Paul Stanley's release from his 1978 solo album was the Number 48 "Hold Me, Touch Me (Think of Me When We're Apart)" and "Radioactive" from Gene Simmons' 1978 solo album reached Number 46.

Susan and Terry intended to collaborate with The Beach Boys to record "Seasons in the Sun". When The Beach Boys elected not to record "Seasons in the Sun" they recorded the song. Terry Jacks then recorded and released the song on his own label and it became a major hit for him, reaching Number One in the US in May, 1974.
"Save the Last Dance for Me" was a number 18 single by DeFranco Family featuring Tony DeFranco in 1974. "So You Are a Star" went to Number 21 for The Hudson Brothers. "It's One of Those Nights (Yes Love)" was one of several seventies hits from television's "The Partridge Family".

"My Side of the Bed" was a release from Susanna's solo album, "When You're a Boy".
Susanna teamed up with Vicki and Debbi Peterson and formed a band called The Colours. They went on to choose The Supersonic Bangs and The Bangs. When legal matters surrounding the names cropped up they settled on The Bangles. They released their debut album called "All Over the Place" in 1984 and began opening for Cyndi Lauper. Prince wrote "Manic Monday" for the band and the song gave them national recognition.
The media began calling attention to Hoffs as the lead singer in the group. After releasing the "When You're a Boy" album Columbia Records did not follow through on a second solo album for Susanna.
"How Is the Air Up There?", "Want You" and "I'm in Line" were tracks from the groups eponymous 1982 debut album.

Benjamin Orr was the lead vocalist on many of the group's hits including "Drive", "Just What I Needed" and "Let's Go". He began his professional career as a member of a Cleveland group called The Grasshoppers, the house band for a local television show.

He met Ric Ocasek in Columbus in 1970 and formed an enduring musical partnership. In 1986 he released his only solo album, "The Lace" which resulted in the single release, "Stay the Night". Ric Ocasek of The Cars had a hit single with "Emotion in Motion" one month before Orr's release of "Stay the Night".

The Cars' left-handed guitarist Elliot Easton released a solo album in 1985 titled "Change No Change". In addition to The Cars, drummer Dave Robinson has worked with The Modern Lovers and DMZ.

The First National Band toured for a while with The Flying Burrito Brothers but had a difficult time shaking Michael's Monkees image and disbanded after less than two years. Michael went on to form Michael Nesmith and The Second National Band. "Big Yellow Taxi" went to Number 29 for The Neighborhood in 1970.

The Assembled Multitude released "Overture from Tommy (A Rock Opera)" in 1970. "Walk A Mile in My Shoes" was a Top Twenty from Joe South and The Believers the same year.

Agnetha Fältskog was also known as Anna. She had already achieved success in 1968 with with her debut album, "Agnetha Faltskog" before joining ABBA.
Anni-Frid Lyngstad began her music career in 1958 performing with The Evald Eks Orchestra when she was 13. Her first album, "Frida", was released in 1971 and led to her being a part of the formation of ABBA.

Known as Little Jimmy Osmond, he enjoyed Top Forty success with "Long Haired Lover from Liverpool". He was the youngest of the family. When "Long Haired Lover from Liverpool" topped the charts in the UK he became the youngest performer to have a Number One hit in England. He has earned six Gold Records as a solo performer and remains a popular performer on stage and television in England.
Merrill continued to perform with The Osmonds and as a solo act. He released an album called "A Tribute to Classic Rock". Wayne Osmond co-wrote many of the groups songs and can play several instruments, including the flute, piano, saxophone and bagpipe. Donnie has enjoyed success with the group, as a duet with his sister and a solo artist.
