The episode began with Jin and Hurley down by the beach and they were building another raft. Jin spoke to Hurley in Korean and Hurley just asked him what he wanted. Jin used his hands to try and tell Hurley what he wanted so Michael saw them nearby and told Hurley that he thought Jin wanted him to hold the bamboo tighter.

While Michael was helping Jin and Hurley build the other raft, Jack asked Michael how everything was going. Michael said it was going fine but then Jack told him he meant it would be fine so long as nobody tried to ruin that one as well. Michael told Jack that he had people guarding this new raft 24/7.

Jack went to Sayid and asked him if he could tell him where to find Danielle but Sayid told him he did not want to help him out. Jack told him that Danielle might be of assistance to them but Sayid reminded him how he was brought to her camp in an unconscious state of mind. Sayid said he escaped and was disoriented, hence he did not know exactly how to find her.

Hurley was in the flashbacks for this episode and the first one showed him watching a video where someone was instructing a bunch of dancers how to do a dosey do. There were also people doing step up aerobics on the video as well. Someone yelled to Hurley and asked him what he was doing so Hurley simply responded by saying he was checking something out.

Answer: Sayid Jarrah

As the opening credits rolled, Sayid was about to go to sleep but he sensed that someone was watching him so he opened his eyes and saw it was Hurley. Hurley said hello and asked Sayid if he was awake but Sayid even questioned if he was awake. Hurley brought out some papers and asked Sayid if "the French lady" wrote what was on it but Sayid told Hurley he did not want to be bothered by it since it was the middle of the night. Hurley said he did not need anything but he was having trouble sleeping and that he was curious.

Near the beginning of the episode, Hurley was seen filling up water bottles and Charlie came to say hello but Hurley blurted out to him that he was not doing anything. Hurley asked Charlie what was the deal and Charlie simply said he was wishing him a good morning. Charlie asked Hurley if he was going somewhere and at first Hurley said no but then he told Charlie he was going to go for a walk. Charlie told Hurley he would like to go on the walk but Hurley told him no since he needed some alone time.

Answer: John Locke

Claire was seen by herself down by the beach so Locke said hello to her and asked her if she had a second. Claire said she did so Locke asked her if she could help him with a little project he had going. Locke told her he was building something and he could use an extra pair of hands but Claire told him she was almost nine months pregnant and could barely waddle down the beach. Locke asked her if she could hold a saw and if she could move her hand back and forth and Claire said yes.

She then agreed to help Locke with his project.

Midway through the episode, Sayid confronted Jack about a map he had and said it would not help him find Rousseau, hence he accused Jack of taking it. Jack told Sayid he did not have the map but Sayid continued to believe he took it and said it was bad since he got Hurley involved. Jack asked Sayid what the deal was with Hurley so Sayid told him about Hurley talking to him about Rousseau.

There was a flashback where Hurley visited a mental institution where he used to stay and he was talking to a patient named Lenny who was playing Connect Four. Ron Bottitta, born on December 25th, 1960 in London, England played Lenny. He starred as Lenny in just two episodes for the series. He also guest starred on the TV shows, "ER", "Alias", and "The Shield."

Seki made an appearance in this episode as Dr. Curtis, a doctor who was at the mental institution Hurley visited. Seki only made this one appearance as Dr. Curtis for the series. He has also guest starred on the TV series', "North Shore", "Baywatch", and "Magnum, P.I."
