"Elden Ring" Locating Liners Trivia Quiz

Answer: Blaidd the Half-Wolf

This line is said by Blaidd when explaining to the player that their next goal should be to travel to the Radahn Festival and deal with Starscourge Radahn. He will say this to the player should they speak to him at the festival as well.

Answer: Sorceress Sellen

Once the player inserts Sellen's soul into a new body, this is the line she will say. This is the last step in Sellen's questline before her conflict with Castellan Jerren at the Raya Lucaria Academy.

Answer: Godfrey, First Elden Lord

This is said during Godfrey's second phase cinematic. Here, he decides to ungraft the Lion Serosh, removing the limitations to his power and rapidly generating a lot more bloodlust. Here, he reveals his true identity- Hoarah Loux, Warrior.

Answer: Sir Gideon Ofnir, the All-Knowing

Once the player picks up half of the Haligtree medallion in the Village of the Albinaurics, the next time they return to the Roundtable Hold, Ensha will invade them. The player will likely recognize Ensha as frequently found guarding the entrance to Gideon's quarters within the hold. After killing Ensha, the player can speak to Gideon over what happened, and this is what he will say.

Answer: Mohg, Lord of Blood

When entering Mohg's boss room for the first time, a cutscene will play where Mohg appears and eventually says this to the player.

Answer: Malenia, Blade of Miquella

When "defeating" Malenia, in actuality just triggering the end of her first phase, a cutscene will play. Malenia will "die" only to rise, say this line to the player, and 'bloom'. According to the lore, Malenia 'blooming' is basically growing and eventually becoming a full fledged goddess.

This will be reflected by the change of her boss name during second phase, shifting from 'Malenia, Blade of Miquella' into 'Malenia, Goddess of Rot'.

Answer: Latenna the Albinauric

When finishing Latenna's questline, this is the last thing she will say to the player before rewarding them with a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. This takes place at the Apostate Derelict within the Consecrated Snowfield.

Answer: Castellan Jerren

Shortly before the Radahn Festival transitions into fighting Radahn, Jerren will undergo a loud, rousing speech where this is the line he will open up with. He encourages everyone in attendance to fight valiantly and claim Radahn's Great Rune.

Answer: Godrick the Grafted

During Godrick's second phase cinematic, he will chop one of his hands off with his axe and graft a dragon head onto it. This causes the head to come to life, creating a 'eureka!' moment within Godrick that causes him to go nearly delirious with joy over the grafting having actually worked. As this is taking place, he will excitedly shout this line out before the cutscene ends.

Answer: Margit the Fell Omen

Shortly after Margit has been defeated, the player will hear his voice say this to them telepathically. "Cower in fear of the night" was actually meant to be taken literally, foreshadowing the appearance of the Night's Cavalry, of whom Margit is the leader of.

Answer: Morgott the Omen King

When Morgott reaches roughly half his health, he will kneel to the ground and cough for a moment before violently erupting some kind of tan liquid of sorts that deals damage- it turns out this is Omen blood. Given that Omens are pariahs in Elden Ring lore, cast away from society and subjugated, the discovery that Morgott is one yet is still the lord of Leyndell is quite surprising.

Here, he has bled all over the thrones of the Demigods residing at the Elden Throne, expresses remorse, and blames the player for this taking place.

Answer: Melina

The first time the player rests at a site of grace that's either the Forsaken Cathedral or any deeper into the Leyndell sewer, Melina will appear and say this line. If the player ignores her plea and interacts with the Three Fingers, she will abandon them and promise to return to them one day and kill them.

Answer: D, Hunter of the Dead

D will say this to the player after introducing himself. He will say this either when met at the Roundtable Hold or at the Summonwater Village Outskirts. The 'should you spot a mariner' part alludes to the Tibia Mariner boss fight. There are six Tibia Mariners across the game, each one will drop a Deathroot used to progress Gurranq's questline. By defeating one and showing the Deathroot to D, he will mark a teleporter on their map- going to this teleporter and using it will automatically bring the player right to Gurranq, rather than forcing them to travel on foot.

Answer: Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon

If the player somehow actually loses to Rennala during her notoriously easy first phase, this is what Rennala will say. Losing here is probably worthy of being talked to like a baby as Rennala does.

Answer: Patches the Untethered

When the player enters the boss room for Patches, initially he will not even be there. There will be a single treasure chest. Opening it gives the player a couple of pieces of armor, but also causes him to show up and say this, believing the player to be stealing from him.
