The Dervish is skilled with the scythe, capable of hitting multiple enemies with one attack. The Paragon is master of command and motivation, equipped with skills that help to coordinate party members in the battlefield, through the use of tactics.

Kormir, the wise Spearmarshal, helps to coordinate the efforts of the Sunspears, in their battle to bring down Varesh Ossa and Abaddon. Spoiler coming up: When Abaddon is finally defeated, Kormir absorbs all his knowledge and power and becomes a god herself - the Goddess of Truth.

Istan is the starting island in the campaign, and is intended to introduce new characters to the game, and prepare them for the task that lies ahead. As soon as the player steps off the boat onto Kourna, the game really starts. Soon after, the player heads north into Vabbi to gain the alliance of the three Prices.

Then, it's off to the Desolation, a harsh wasteland of which there is little human life. Finally, one enters the Realm of Torment, and must fight their way through hordes of Margonites, the Shadow Army, and Titans to bring down Abaddon.

Answer: Necromancer

Master of Whispers is a Necromancer who is a powerful ally to have as you progress through the game, along with his Order of Whispers. There are two missions that require Master of Whispers to be in the party - Rilohn Refuge and Dzagonur Bastion. It is in the latter than he reveals his true name - Jurah.

The player has a choice of either helping Melonni or Koss. Melonni needs to protect her village of Ronjok in the Nundu Bay mission, and Koss wants to defend the Garden of Seborhin in Jennur's Horde.

Zhed is a centaur belonging to the Veldrunner tribe. He is an elementalist, and is one of only three heroes that are miniatures as well.

The Desolation is plagued with undead creatures and Margonites. The eight explorable areas are Crystal Overlook, Dynastic Tombs, Joko's Domain, Poisoned Outcrops, The Alkali Pan, The Ruptured Heart, The Shattered Ravines and The Sulfurous Wastes.

Answer: Mouth of Torment

In the center of the outpost is a swirling vortex that will transport party members to the Gate of Torment if one person should walk into it. As you approach the vortex, you are placed under the effects of Approaching the Vortex, causing you to move 50% slower.

Answer: Undead Lich & Shiro Tagachi

Possibly the most difficult mission in the campaign, Gate of Madness sees players fighting off hordes of Margonites and Torment Demons and Shiro'ken. The final battle involves fighting the Undead Lich and Shiro Tagachi AT THE SAME TIME. With careful pulling, it is possible to pick off one at a time, without any interference from the other.
