Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the Chompworks Galaxy, your first Mission will involve a massive Chomp of what colour?

Answer: Gold

The first Mission here, about halfway through your journey across the Galaxies, is called 'Where the Chomps Are Made of Gold', and it'll have Mario headed through the Chomp factory (as it would seem) to a track that spawns golden Chomps, one at a time.

The problem is that the guarded track won't bring the Chomp all the way to the end of the course unless Mario hits switches and weighs down platforms. Only when the Chomp reaches the end will it burst into a Power Star.
2. The Yoshi Star Galaxy will be the first location at which you see which of these foes?

Answer: Magikoopa

The classic foe returns quite early on here, guarding a glass barricade containing a Yoshi Egg near the start of the Galaxy. There's only the one of them on this visit, but beating it with a single spin attack is enough to free Mario's companion from his temporary prison.

This enemy's magic is interesting in this game since, if it collides with a surface, it'll create an enemy (a Goomba, for instance). Mario also encounters Lakitus, Spinies, and Spanglers for the first time in this Galaxy.
3. What happens if you fire Mario into the bullseyes on the targets in Bowser Jr.'s Boom Bunker?

Answer: You'll get 1-Ups

Although the 1-Ups may seem like the least substantial of the options, you might find, especially in one of the more complicated mechanical planets of this boss area (at the end of World 5), that the extra lives will come in handy. Very rarely in this game will you need to put Mario into a cannon and aim (with the Wii Remote) to fire him at a target, but twice in this Galaxy you'll find large bullseyes. Hitting each nets one 1-Up.

The Comet Medal is on the large, rotating planet.
4. Which common enemy appears in the Rolling Coaster Galaxy?

Answer: Bob-omb

What would a "Mario" game be without a Rainbow Road, right? In this Galaxy, all Mario needs to do is hop aboard a ball containing the Power Star and ride it to the goal, but to do that he'll have to navigate the precarious slides and rails that make up this level. En route there will be some small Goombas, but more importantly there will be Bob-ombs, and they'll put Mario at a bit more risk of blasting off the edges of the course.
5. In the Boss Blitz Galaxy, you can find the Comet Medal under whose battle planet?

Answer: King Kaliente

There's very little room to hide in this Galaxy since the only spots you'll visit, by and large, are boss arena planets where you face off against Dino Piranha (twice), King Kaliente, Major Burrows, and Bouldergeist, and the catch here is that three of those planets are perfectly spherical and one is flat. King Kaliente's is the one that hides the Comet Medal (and a Life Mushroom). All you need to do is think to go underneath the lava pool, circling around the edge of the planet. Both should be there, unguarded.
6. The Prankster Comet that appears around Flipsville Galaxy will cause Mario to do which of these?

Answer: Collect Purple Coins

Though the main draw of Flipsville Galaxy will inevitably be the portals that allow Mario to play with his sense of gravity and space, the Prankster Comet that arrives here creates the Purple Coin Spin Speed Run Mission, which has him drilling through the dirt to collect Purple Coins within a time limit to secure his Power Star.

This will be the same underground area seen in the earlier Flipsville's New Digs Mission, just with the extra requirement.
7. Does Yoshi appear in the Hightail Falls Galaxy?

Answer: Yes

Yoshi's an integral part of this Galaxy because it's the first spot at which Mario will find the Dash Pepper, an edible item that makes Yoshi run really fast due to its spiciness. The item works for a limited time, but during this time, Yoshi can defy gravity, running up along sheer walls to get around. If Yoshi hits a wall or an obstacle along the way, he'll come to a halt, sometimes forcing Mario to course correct in mid-air (if he's lucky). Yoshi is mandatory here though!
8. The Space Storm Galaxy appears on which World map?

Answer: World 5

The first Galaxy to be found in World 5, the Space Storm Galaxy is a mandatory one; Mario MUST pass through it to access all other Galaxies in the area and make his way to Bowser Jr.'s lair at the end of the line. A deep-space setting containing a number of mechanical implements, electrically-charged hazards, time-slowing capabilities, Topmen (just to make things more precarious), and Bob-Ombs (just to make things more treacherous), Mario will just need to be quick on his feet and bounce back if he's hit.
9. How many Missions can be found in the Honeybloom Galaxy?

Answer: Two

There are only two, and one is a secret one! Mario can open up this Galaxy by passing through a Hungry Luma in World 2, and in doing so he'll unlock his earliest Bee Mushrooms, allowing him to buzz his way up to a Power Star for the Bumble Beginnings Mission straight off the bat.

There is a second Power Star here though. Right at the beginning, Mario can swing and spin jump, then wall jump a ton up to a hidden area containing another Power Star for The Secret Wall Jump.
10. The Final Test and The Perfect Run are the final Missions of the game, both found in what last Galaxy?

Answer: Grandmaster Galaxy

The forty-ninth and final Galaxy of the game only unlocks once you collect all 120 Power Stars, fight Bowser once again in his final arena, and then collect all 120 Green Stars from around the Worlds. After those 240 Power Stars are amassed, the Grandmaster Galaxy appears at the end of World S and gives Mario his hardest challenge. And then, of course, there's a Prankster Star there too, which only show up if you've gotten the Comet Medal and stored 9,999 Star Bits with the Bank Toad. No one said it'd be easy!
