Located near Woodstock, and the Blenheim Palace, St Martin's Church was opened in 1804, on the site of a church that had been constructed around the 11th or 12th century. With major renovations occurring in 1891, the churchyard is the site of the Churchill family burial plot.

The church is dedicated to St Martin of Tours. Oxfordshire is located in the southeastern area of England, and in addition to being home to Blenheim Palace, several other notable buildings can be found in the county, including the University of Oxford, Chastleton House and Mapledurham House. And, the illustrations of Toad Hall in 1908's "The Wind in the Willows" may have been based on Mapledurham House.

Although the church was founded in 1695, the cemetery was not opened until 1719. In addition to Benjamin Franklin, and members of his family, the cemetery is the final resting place for many others, including William Bainbridge, Benjamin Rush and Joseph Clay.

The Bentonville Cemetery has burials dating back to the middle of the 1800s. In addition to Sam Walton, US Congressman Samuel Peel and Arkansas Governor James Berry are buried in the cemetery.
Nearby, the Walton's Five and Dime serves as the Walmart Visitor Center. And, not too far from downtown, is the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, which was founded by Alice Walton - Sam Walton's daughter. When Rembrandt died in 1669, he was so poor that he was buried in a pauper's graveyard, so his grave site's exact location is uncertain. A few of the other artists buried there include Melchior d'Hondecoeter, Govert Flinck and Nicolaes Berchem. And, a bronze plaque at the church's entrance is in memory of the Dutch singer Willy Alberti (Carel Verbrugge).

Machpelah Cemetery is the final resting place of Harry Houdini (Erik Weisz), and his brother as well - Theodore Hardeen. The Machpelah Cemetery is located within what is termed as the Queens Cemetery Belt, a 2.5 mile long stretch of burial grounds which came into existence following the Rural Cemeteries Act of 1847.

As population grew and construction progressed throughout New York, many grave sites elsewhere were displaced, and the deceased were moved to mass graves in Queens. Considered both spooky and haunted, the cemeteries are a popular Halloween destination.
