The trio fought viciously, until it ended with Victoria pinning Trish. After the match, Steven Richards began to manhandle Trish, and he set her up to be attacked by Victoria. But The Hurricane had other ideas. He ran down to the ring and came to Trish's rescue.

Then he said that he if he were a smart and sensible man that he would leave the title in the middle of the ring and leave. He said this because he said his body isn't what it used to be and that he was a shell of the shell he was before. When he said this, the crowd began yelling "No," and just as we thought he was going to retire, Michaels said that he's not a sensible man and that he would fighting champion and defend the title against whomever wants a shot at it.

Then music began blaring, and Triple H walked to the ring and began by addressing Kane, his kidnapper from the week before. Hunter said that the next time Kane tried to kidnap someone, he ought not to have a child safety latch inside the trunk of the car, because that's how he escaped. Hunter then addressed the fans, and said that he didn't care if they were offended the week before. Then he walked over the casket and removed the supposedly dead "Katie Vick." Upon opening the casket, one could see that it was indeed a mannequin dressed in a cheerleader outfit. Then Hunter brought "Katie" to the ring and sat her on his lap. Triple H then began asking her questions, and he actually answered in a high pitched voice, which was supposed to be "Katie's" voice. The scene was laughable at best, and pathetic at worst.

The Hurricane was beaten for his kind deed, and the video tape was still with Helmsley and Flair.

His mind didn't seem to focused on the match, and because of Kane's lack of focus Jericho and Christian won and became the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Jericho put The Hurricane in the "Walls of Jericho" and made him tap out. At the end of the match, Kane who had been distracted by Christian and was chasing him up the ramp, flew into ring and visibly showed his anger. You could actually see the fire burning inside the Big Red Machine!

Vince said that only one superstar has ruthless aggression and that person is the one who won "King Of The Ring". Vince said that Brock Lesnar didn't care how he won or who he destroyed, just as long as he won.

With Guerrero on the mat, Jeff went for the 'Swanton Bomb', but missed when Guerrero moved out of the way. Jeff them gave Guerrero the 'Whisper In The Wind', which knocked Guerrero and the referee down. With the referee down, Guerrero went to the outside of the ring and grabbed the championship belt and hit Jeff when he went to the outside. Guerrero then threw Jeff back in and then performed the 'Frog Splash' for the the win.
