Kendra Dumbledore is the mother of Albus, Aberforth and Ariana. Kendra dies when Albus is 18 and about to set off on a big trip with Elphias Doge. Instead, Albus stays home to look after his younger siblings.

She was going to fine him, but then she saw the locket and said that if she could have the locket, she would let him off.

This locket was really a horcrux, though neither Umbridge or Mundungus knew this.

Ron told them he was Stan Shunpike, because it had worked another time he was caught by snatchers, but these snatchers knew the real Stan Shunpike, so they didn't believe him.
