Answer: Queanbeyan

'Clean waters' translates as Quinbean. This refers to the nearby Molonglo River. The town was founded by Timothy Beard, an innkeeper, in 1838.

Queenscliff is a popular daytripping and holiday destination for Melbournians. There are many things to see including the Maritime Centre, a 19th Century fort and two lighthouses. There is also a vehicle ferry to Portsea and Sorrento on the other side of Port Phillip Bay.
