Rincewind, because of all the horrible things that have happened to him, has perfected the survival technique of not dying. In the first few books, this seemed to really frustrate Death.
2. In "The Light Fantastic," what game does Twoflower teach Death and His associates?

Answer: Bridge

"Contract" (a style of Bridge) is mentioned during the conversation in Death's domain. Later Rincewind asks Twoflower the name of the game he was teaching them, and Twoflower says it would be something you would build over water. Rincewind hazards, among other guesses, "Aqueduct?" but he is laboring under language difficulties.
