Answer: Aragorn

Aragorn son of Arathorn also goes by the names Strider and Dunadan. He is a direct descendant of Elros and the kings of Numenor.

Beren and Luthien feature in "The Silmarillion". Luthien's father, Thingol, does not approve of their relationship because she is an Elf and Beren is a mere mortal.

The name means "He who looks afar" in Quenya. The reason that the Palantirs (mentioned in the info for question 16) were so called was because they helped people see things that others could not. Aragorn was a direct descendant of the kings of Numenor.
