Yukie was the female class representative, and the other students often referred to her simply as Representative. Yukie has known Shuya as long as Noriko has, and up until the program began, he called Noriko by her surname, but since they have been through so much together, he took to calling her Noriko. Yukie had a huge crush on Shuya, and had done since primary school, which is probably why she was as annoyed as she was.

Keita and Shinji had been to the cinema together, then to a comic book store. Shinji had bought a book, and after they left, Keita had decided to go back and buy a book he'd been looking at. While he was gone, Shinji got into a fight with a group of guys. Keita came out of the shop, saw the fight, and went back to hide in the shop, pretending he'd wanted to look at something else.

Answer: Volleyball

A large number of the students in the class were members of sports teams. Many of the girls, including Yukie, played volleyball, or did athletics, while the boys played football, handball, baseball, and basketball.

Answer: Haruka Tanizawa

Haruka played on the volleyball team with Yukie, and they had been best friends for many years. All of the girls who join together in the lighthouse were close friends, but Yukie and Haruka were best friends.

After the incident at the comic book store, Shinji doesn't believe Keita will help if anyone attacks them, which is why he doesn't want him to join them. When Keita refuses to leave, Shinji then starts to worry that he will ruin their plans to bomb the school by mentioning something which will be picked up on the receivers, but this is after he has already refused to let him join them.

Shinji fires a warning shot to try and get Keita to leave him and Yutaka alone, but Keita doesn't take the hint. Shinji's attempt to fire a second warning shot went wrong, and hit Keita.

All of the guns listed were handed out to various students on the island, but the Browning High Power 9mm Pistol belonged to Yukie. The book explicitely mentions the types and makes of almost all the guns issued in the book. The girls in the lighthouse had quite an impressive supply of guns, which the girls were all willing to share with each other, right up until the ending shoot-out.

Shinji's finger slipped while he was trying to fire the second warning shot at Keita, and he accidentally shot him in the chest, killing him. Yutaka at first refused to believe it was an accident, because Shinji is so fantastic at sport and has great coordination, but when Shinji offers to give up his gun, Yutaka finally realises it was a mistake.

Yukie went for her gun, in order to shoot Satomi, after Satomi had shot Chisato, but Satomi shot her in the chest with her uzi before she could get there. Yukie was the unofficial leader of the lighthouse group, and was probably the most rational and sensible.

When Keita approached Shinji and Yutaka, he was carrying a kitchen knife. Although it is possible that he found this in one of the houses on the island, we are never told that he was supplied with anything different, so this was probably his supplied weapon. Keita came across as quite cowardly, so he was probably carrying the knife in his hand to make himself feel safer; he most likely wouldn't have been able to kill anyone with it.
