When Severus Snape joins the Death Eater meeting at Malfoy Manor, he betrays Harry Potter by telling Lord Voldemort when Potter will be moved. He has a ghoul sleeping above his room in the attic at the Burrow, he had a pet rat who turned out to be the Death Eater who betrayed his best friend's parents, causing their deaths and he has a most unique middle name. Boring is one word that does not apply to Ron.

Dumbledore leaves Ron his Deluminator. We first see the Deluminator in "Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone" when Dumbledore uses it on Privet Drive to turn off the street lanterns before Hagrid arrives with Harry. However, when Hermione attempts to question him he calls her a "filthy mudblood".
