Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Dolores, a lounge singer, goes under cover as a nun to hide from her boyfriend after she sees him commit murder. She undertakes the job as the head of the choir which is less than impressive and turns their style around bringing more people to the deserted church.

Answer: Sister Act

Whoopi Goldberg stars as Dolores next to Maggie Smith as the Reverend Mother.
2. A story of true love; Westley the stable boy and Buttercup fall in love, but Westley is supposedly killed by the dread pirate Roberts. Now Buttercup is engaged to Prince Humperdinck and is suddenly kidnapped by Vizzini, Fezzick the Giant, and Inigo Montoya. She then finds herself rescued by none other than the dread pirate himself!

Answer: Princess Bride

I loved Inigo Montoya, the Impressive Clergyman, and Billy Crystal as Miracle Max. Playing Westley was Cary Elwes (dashing), Robin Wright Penn as Buttercup (graceful), and Chris Sarandon as Humperdinck (hilarious).
3. Amanda moves to an apartment shared with models and finds herself in a big adventure concerning Jim Winston, the cutie who lives across the street, thinking he is a murderer.

Answer: Head over Heels

Monica Potter was pretty good as Amanda, Freddie Prinze Jr. was great as Jim aka Bob Smoot, and Sarah O'Hare as Candy was hilarious!
4. A young clownfish gets caught in a scuba diver's net and ends up in a fishtank in a dentist's office. Meanwhile, his dad Marlin is frantically searching the ocean for him aided by Dory, who suffers from short term memory loss.

Answer: Finding Nemo

I loved this movie! Ellen Degeneres is hilarious as Dory! I especially liked Dory never being able to remember Nemo's name.
5. This is based on the Bible story of a prophet who gets eaten by a whale, is given a second chance, but eventually ends up all alone.

Answer: Jonah: A Veggie Tales Movie

I can't get enough of Veggie Tales! They're infectiously funny although they're made for 5 year olds. Phil Vischer as the voices of Archibald Asparagus, Jonah, Twippo, Bob the Tomatoe, and Mr. Lunt was funny. Mike Nawrocki as Larry the Cucumber was my favorite character. Tim Hodge voiced Khalil the Caterpillar.
6. Anna and her mom disagree so much that one night at the Chinese restaurant, the host's mother gives them magic fortune cookies that cause them to change bodies. This movie was called "Freaky Friday".

Answer: True

Jamie Lee Curtis was so funny as Tess, and Lindsey Lohan as Anna was pretty good as well. My favorite character had to be the grandpa whose earthquake alerts were hilarious.
7. This movie is about an urban myth of a videotape that kills you after 7 days. A reporter tries to unearth the secret before time runs out.

Answer: The Ring

I was scared out of my pants on this one! Daveigh Chase has haunted my nightmares as Samara Morgan.
8. This is set during the Revolutionary War and is about a man who is out to avenge the death of his two sons.

Answer: The Patriot

Mel Gibson is excellent in this movie, but I quite liked Heath Ledger and Gregory Smith as his sons!
9. Two guys accidentally get mixed up in a kidnapping when they drive across the country to deliver a briefcase left at the airport.

Answer: Dumb and Dumber

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels have comic brilliance in this movie as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne. This is my absolute favorite movie. No wonder, the mockingbird song is just too funny.
10. A classic Monty Python, a spoof on King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

Answer: The Holy Grail

Another great comic classic, my favorite is John Cleese as Tim the Enchanter, the Bridge of Death, the Knights who say Ni and the Holy Hand Grenade.
