Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which was the first Ozzy Osbourne album to feature Jake E. Lee on guitar?

Answer: Bark At The Moon

Ozzy's solo career got off to a great start, doubtless helped by the work of immensely talented guitarist Randy Rhoads who joined the band from Quiet Riot. After Rhoads tragically died in 1982 aged just 25 as a result of a plane crash, former Rough Cutt member Jake E. Lee took over guitar duties and remained with the band for the next five years. "Bark At The Moon" (1983) gave Ozzy two UK chart hits in the title track and "So Tired".
2. "I am just a poor boy, Though my story's seldom told" are the opening lyrics to which Simon and Garfunkel song?

Answer: The Boxer

"The Boxer" was a track from the duo's mega selling 1970 album, "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and is one of their most recognisable tracks. Folk rock band Mumford and Sons covered the song on their "Babel" album (2012) with guest vocals from Paul Simon.
3. What was the title of Swedish House Mafia's 2012 song that was a big dance chart hit?

Answer: Greyhound

Swedish House Mafia hit dance charts and even national charts all over the world with this track, which was written as an promotional track for the launch of Greyhound vodka from Absolut. "Greyhound" was from their 2012 album, "Until Now" which also featured their UK number one, "Don't You Worry Child".
4. Which band released "The Dogs Of War" as a single from their 1987 album, "A Momentary Lapse of Reason"?

Answer: Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd went from singing about "Dogs" on their 1977 album. "Animals" to "Dogs Of War" on "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" (1987). "Dogs Of War" though wasn't about man's best friend but rather how much money influences politician's decisions to go to war. "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" was the first Pink Floyd album without main lyricist Roger Waters.
5. By which name is rapper Shad Gregory Moss better known?

Answer: Bow Wow

Bow Wow was known as Lil' Bow Wow when he released his first album "Beware Of The Dog" aged just 13 in 2000. By the time of his third album, "Unleashed" in 2003, he had dropped the Lil' to become just Bow Wow. He is also an actor, appearing in movies "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" (2006) and "Hurricane Season" (2010) as well as starring as Brody Nelson in TV show "CSI: Cyber".
6. "The Bitch Is Back" was a Canadian number one for which artist in 1974?

Answer: Elton John

Although Tina Turner has recorded this track and done a great job with it, it will always be one of Elton's signature songs. Originally on the "Caribou" album (1974), it gave Elton his sixth Canadian number one and second from this album, the other being "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" also in 1974.
7. Donny Osmond had a huge hit in 1972 with "Puppy Love", but who wrote and originally recorded the song?

Answer: Paul Anka

Paul Anka reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in USA and number 33 on UK charts with this track in 1960, but the 15 year old Donny Osmond took it to new heights, with a Billboard Hot 100 number three and a number one in UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The song is allegedly about Annette Funicello, who was one of the original Mouseketeers on the "Mickey Mouse Club" TV show.
8. Producer, Robert John Lange has worked with AC/DC, Def Leppard and Foreigner among many others. What is his canine nickname?

Answer: Mutt

The track went to number one in Australia and New Zealand and number two in UK, where it was kept off the top by Steps with "Stomp".
