Answer: Steve Perry

Steve Perry replaced Robert Fleischman (who was in the band for less than a year), and was debuted on Journey's 1978 album "Infinity". Perry went on to record studio albums "Evolution", "Departure", "Escape", "Frontiers", "Raised On Radio", and "Trial By Fire" with Journey, before leaving the band because of a hip injury.

Answer: Jonathan Cain

Jonathan Cain replaced Gregg Rolie, who had become tired of touring with the band. Rolie recommended Cain, of the group The Babys for the new keyboardist. Cain's use of synthesizers created a whole new sound for Journey. He proved to be a great addition to Journey, and co-wrote all the songs on Journey's 1981 album "Escape".

Answer: Neal Schon

Neal Schon is one of the original members of Journey and has been in Journey since it was formed in 1973. He appeared on every single Journey album as the lead guitarist. He's well known for his soaring guitar riffs in many of Journey's songs.

Answer: Deen Castronovo

Deen Castronovo became the drummer after Steve Smith left Journey in 1998. His first album with Journey was 2001's "Arrival". He also played on 2002's "Red 13", 2005's "Generations" and 2008's "Revelation". Deen also sings and provides lead vocals for "Mother Father" and also "Keep On Running" and "Still They Ride".

Ross Valory, like Neal Schon, is the only original member of Journey still in the band. In the height of Journey's popularity, Valory was fired from the band temporarily and was replaced by Randy Jackson. He returned to the band in the 90s and appeared on every album since then.

Arnel Pineda, who is from the Phillipines, received the call to join Journey after Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain saw his band performing cover tunes on YouTube. Pineda has the closest vocal style to Steve Perry than the previous singers who came before him.

Randy Jackson was a member for only a couple years, but he can be seen in several of the band's videos, and he was the bassist on Journey's 1986 album "Raised On Radio".

Answer: Gregg Rolie

Gregg Rolie was one of the original members of the band, having formed Journey after being in Santana with Neal Schon. Rolie did lead vocals, then only some of the lead vocals once Steve Perry joined the group. Rolie left the band after the 1980 album "Departure" because of exhaustion from touring.

Steve Smith replaced the fired Aynsley Dunbar, and went on to play on some of Journey's most successful albums. He was briefly fired in the mid-80s and was replaced by Larrie Londin as drummer on "Raised On Radio". Smith returned to play on the 1994 album "Trial By Fire", but he opted to leave Journey after the album because the band would be going on without Steve Perry, who needed surgery.
