Answer: Jim Morrison

Frontman for the Doors, Morrison was one of the icons of the counterculture of the 1960s and '70s. He died in Paris of "heart failure"; no autopsy was performed. Morrison was 27 years old at his death, and thus part of the so-called "27 Club", a large group of popular musicians who died at that age from drug abuse or by violent means.
2. "Going Up the Country", "On the Road Again"

Answer: Alan Wilson

Wilson was one of the co-founders of Canned Heat, a blues rock band. He sang lead on "Going Up the Country" which the band performed at Woodstock. That song might have been the anthem for the festival if Jimi Hendrix hadn't played "The Star Spangled Banner". Wilson is another member of the "27 Club", having died from barbiturate intoxication. Band members thought he might have intentionally overdosed.
