Answer: October 1965

They received their MBE's October 26th 1965. John later gave his back in protest in November of 1969.
2. Who was the Beatles' first manager?

Answer: Alan Williams

Alan set up many gigs for them in Liverpool, Scotland, and Hamburg when they were starting out. He was only 29 when he took the job.
3. What was the last song they performed in concert together (not including the rooftop show in 1969)?

Answer: Long Tall Sally

Monday 29th August 1966: it was performed at Candlestick Park at the end of their world tour.
4. Who is famous for turning down the Beatles after their Decca audition?

Answer: Dick Rowe

Dick could only choose one act for that day and chose the act that followed the Beatles, Brian Poole and the Tremeloes. But he made up for that bad career move by signing The Rolling Stones within the year.

The Beatles' performance came durring the 'Artistic Excellence' section.

John and Yoko were married at the British Consulate in Gibraltar on March 20th 1969. (John later wrote this into the song 'The Ballad Of John and Yoko'.)
Paul married Linda eight days before at the Marylebone Register Office in England.
