Answer: 'In My Life'

This is my favorite song in the entire world! "... But of all these friends and lovers there is no one compares with you and these memories lose their meaning when I think of love as something new ..." This song was released in 1965 on 'Rubber Soul'. One of George & John's personal favorites. George rearranged the song a bit for his 1974 'Dark Horse' Tour, and he was criticized for ruining a classic.

It was written by John & Paul.

You stick around now it may show ..." This was released in 1969 on 'Abbey Road'. It was George's first composition to be released on the A side of a Beatles single. He was inspired by his wife, Pattie, to write the classic.

"... Free as a bird, it's the next best thing to be, free as a bird ..." This song was first recorded in 1977 in New York by John in his home. In March of 1994, George, Paul & Ringo finished the recording. "We took the attitude that John had gone on holiday, saying 'I finished all the tracks except this one but I leave it to you guys to finish off.' " ~Paul.

"... Golden slumbers fill your eyes smiles awake you when you rise sleep pretty darling do not cry and I will sing a lullabye ..." This song was released in 1969 on 'Abbey Road'. The words are from a 400-year-old poem written by Thomas Dekker. Paul found the poem in his step-sister's book.

Answer: 'A Taste Of Honey'

"... Yours was the kiss that awoke my heart, there lingers still though we're far apart that taste of honey tasting much sweeter than wine ..." This was released in 1963 on 'Please Please Me'. It was written by Rich Marlow & Bobby Scott.

"... It was released in 1970 on 'Let It Be'. This song was performed in the rooftop sequence of the movie, 'Let It Be'.

"... Looking through the bent backed tulips to see how the other half live, looking through the glass onion ..." This was written by John & Paul. It was released in 1968 on 'The Beatles' (white album). The song mentions five other Beatle releases: 'Lady Madonna', 'Fixing A Hole', 'Strawberry Fields Forever', 'Fool On The Hill', and 'I Am The Walrus'.

"... Messrs. K. and H. assure the public their production will be second to none, and of course Henry The Horse dances the waltz ..." This song was written by Paul & John. It was released in 1967 on 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'. John went to an old circus poster for inspiration for this song.

This song was written by George. It was released in 1968 on 'The Beatles' (white album). "This song is dedicated to Eric Clapton's sweet tooth as George lectures on the evils of junk food." It can be heard in the movie, 'HELP!.' It was in the 1965 North American Tour, in the '65 British Winter Tour, and performed on the 'Ed Sullivan Show' in September on 1965.

This song was also part of the group's repertoire for their audition for Decca & Parlophone Records. In the movie, 'Let It Be', Paul gives a stirring rendition of the song to the other Beatles' accompaniment and amusement."
