Answer: Stanley Keyworth

The psychiatrist that helped out Josh was named Dr. Stanley Keyworth. When he went to meet with Josh, he brought a graduate student of psychology along with him to observe his meeting with Josh. Josh told Dr. Keyworth he had no problem with the graduate student being there but he also told the doctor he felt like he did not have a problem. Dr. Keyworth informed Josh he was there to see if Josh had a problem.
3. The psychiatrist that came to The White House, in this episode, was from what U.S. city?

Answer: San Francisco

5. In the episode, the psychiatrist made what diagnosis on the member of The Bartlet Administration that he treated?

Answer: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Dr. Stanley Keyworth told Josh that he had Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of being shot. PTSD is a mental disorder, characterized by the person having nightmares and flashbacks via certain triggers to a certain trauma in his/her life that unsettles them. People can suffer from PTSD in many ways, such as from surviving a rape, being involved in a natural catastrophe, witnessing a serious crime, childhood abuse, etc.

A common misconception is that all people who have PTSD get it from serving in combat. An example of a trigger associated with PTSD is if someone that was involved in Hurricane Katrina sees a weather report of a hurricane striking a state like Florida. Seeing that kind of weather report is likely to cause that person to have nightmares and flashbacks of the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
6. The psychiatrist claimed that he made his diagnosis in five minutes.

Answer: True

Dr. Keyworth saw that Josh was in denial about having Post Traumatic Stress Disorder since Josh felt he could not make a diagnosis after just a short period of time. Dr. Keyworth told Josh that one of the triggers associated with his PTSD caused him to cut his hand when he broke it through a window and that helped him get to a diagnosis.
7. At the end of the episode, the psychiatrist was offered to get what to eat?

Answer: Pizza

Before Dr. Keyworth left, Josh made sure he would get another session with him. Dr. Keyworth appeared in several subsequent episodes of "The West Wing."
8. The psychiatrist said that what triggered his patient's disorder?

Answer: Musical display in The White House

Dr. Keyworth realized this triggered his memories of being shot in Rosslyn. Dr. Keyworth told Josh that seeing and hearing the musical display reminded Josh of the police and ambulance sirens on the night that he was shot.
9. In a flashback, C.J. was told that someone, during a tour of The White House, was freaked out by what?

Answer: A painting

In the flashback, a reporter told C.J. that a woman, who took a tour of The White House, became upset when she saw a painting. C.J. found out that the painting was owned by a French Jewish man and stolen by the Nazis and eventually given to the United States as a gift.
