Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The episode opened to Arya arriving in Braavos. What giant, overseeing the entrance to Braavos, did Arya say was "just a statue"?

Answer: Titan

Ternesio: "Old times, whenever Braavos stood in danger, the Titan would step with fire in his eyes... wade into the sea and smash the enemies."

Arya: "He's just a statue."

The enormous (iron/stone) statue stood impressive guard over the watery entrance into Braavos. Ternesio told Arya not be afraid when the horn sounded, and she assured him she was not. Ternesio Terys was played by actor Gary Oliver.

The three incorrect options are all beasts from the "Harry Potter" series.
2. Sansa declined Brienne's offer of servitude.

Answer: True

Podrick and Brienne found themselves in the same pub/eating establishment as Sansa and Little Finger. Brienne offered to be Sansa's sworn sword, as she'd promised Catelyn Stark. Petyr (Little Finger) was only too eager to remind Brienne that the last two under her protection (Lord Renly and Catelyn) had perished.

It was a bit unfair, as Melisandra sent an evil specter after Renly and Catelyn was sacrificed at the Red Wedding. Brienne had departed Catelyn on her quest to find Arya and Sansa. Sansa declined the offer, but Brienne decided to follow her anyway.
3. What did Cersei receive from Dorne that she perceived as a threat against her daughter Myrcella?

Answer: Necklace

The gold necklace with a lion's head charm came dangling from the mouth of a golden cobra. Cersei told Jaime that only she and Myrcella owned necklaces like it. So, the pair knew their daughter was in danger, and most likely due to the death of Oberyn Martell at the hands of The Mountain. Jaime decided to head to Dorne to save her. Myrcella Baratheon had last been seen boarding a boat to Dorne midway through season two.
4. Who did Jaime ask to accompany him to Dorne?

Answer: Bronn

Bronn had betrayed the Stark family at the Red Wedding, and been promised a wife in Lollys Stokeworth. Jaime came to him and offered him a better wife in exchange for help in Dorne. Bronn accepted the offer, likely glad to be rid of the plain, chatty and slightly dimwitted Lollys. Elizabeth Cadwallader played Lollys.
5. Did Prince Doran Martell agree to the murder of Myrcella?

Answer: No

Ellaria wanted justice for the death of Oberyn. Doran explained to her that his brother's death had been of his own doing. He'd agreed to be the proxy for Tyrion Lannister against The Mountain. Oberyn actually would have won the fight if his own hubris had not gotten the better of him. Doran told Ellaria that they did not mutilate little girls for vengeance while he ruled.

Alexander Siddig played Prince Doran and Indira Varma played Ellaria Sand.
6. Who was beheaded in this episode?

Answer: Mossador

Daenerys ordered that the captured Son of the Harpy man would receive a fair trial. Both Grey Worm and Daario urged her not to show mercy, but Selmy did. He explained that the actions of her father, the Mad King, were true stories. His brutality, cruelty and paranoia had only led to his own death. So, she heeded the advice. Mossador murdered the man before his trial, and despite the crowd begging her not to, Daenerys had him executed.
7. What was the term Shireen Baratheon used to describe her disfigurement?

Answer: Greyscale

She was teaching Gilly letters of the alphabet, and Gilly asked Shireen what the condition was called. She told Shireen two of her sisters had it and they'd died. Shireen said she'd been cured when just a baby, and that it stopped growing. Shireen's the daughter of Stannis Baratheon.
8. Jon told Samwell that he was going to refuse Stannis' offer of legitimacy.

Answer: True

Stannis offered to make Jon a legitimate Stark and Lord of Winterfell, but Jon told Sam he'd promised himself to the Knight's Watch. Shortly afterward, Jon Snow became the 998th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. He won by one vote, that of Maester Aemon, beating out both Denys Mallister and Alliser Thorne. It was Sam who nominated Jon.
9. Though this person described themselves as "no one", who was it that returned to Arya the coin she'd earlier tossed into the sea?

Answer: Jaqen H'ghar

She'd given up on being allowed admittance into the House of Black and White, and accepted that her friend Jaqen H'ghar was not going to return to her. Near the end of the episode, Arya was almost attacked by a group of men, who she faced fearlessly. The mysterious white robed man appeared on the streets of Braavos, and Arya's attackers became afraid. She followed him back to the floating house with the black and white doors, and he returned to her that same coin he'd given her so long ago. Then he revealed the face she'd known him by. He told her that a man is not a name (Jaqen H'ghar), and that he was "no one".

Cedric Henderson played the older face of Jaqen H'ghar.
10. At the end of the episode, did Daenerys' dragon, Drogon, finally return to Meereen?

Answer: Yes

Drogon, named after her husband Khal Drogo, returned that night atop the fortress in Meereen. Daenerys had a trying day, and was mesmerized by the return of her third dragon. She almost touched him before he gently backed away and flew off, over the city.
