8.22 "Crossfire" Trivia Quiz

The episode began with a man in his car driving to a discrete location. When he pulled over, he got out a bucket of gasoline and started pouring it all over the car. There was someone tied up in the trunk of the vehicle. The man lit the car up and then he drove off in another car.

Answer: His ex-wife

Castle and Kate were at a park looking for people who might be Loksat since they figured they could finally nab him. Kate saw a woman and she said the woman looked like a cross between Carrot Top and Cruella De Vil. She said it looked like Castle's ex-wife so Castle wondered if she was LokSat.

Answer: There was no security camera

The team went to the crime scene and Lanie said the victim was bound, gagged and breathing when he was burned up. Javier saw a suitcase in the car and he said that, if they could identify the serial number and if it was registered, they could identify the victim. Kevin mentioned how interesting it was that the buildings at the crime scene were vacant and that there was no security camera.

Answer: Rats

The team went to a nearby location which had security cameras so they staked it out in the hopes of nabbing the killer. Nobody had any clues for a while but Castle mentioned that he saw two rats fighting over a piece of pizza. They then saw someone making a drop of money at the location.

Answer: Caleb Brown

While the team was at the crime scene, Javier contacted Kate to give her some big news. He said he was able to get the identity of the victim since the suitcase serial number showed it was registered to Caleb Brown. Kate informed Castle that Caleb was not making a drop of money at that scene, which is what she initially thought was happening.

Answer: Mason Wood

There was a shootout at the stakeout where the team was and Castle was surprised to see Mason Wood, the head of the Greatest Detective Society, there. He got a food truck and told Kate and Castle to get inside so he could drive them to a safe location. Mason later told Castle that he was a lawyer who once worked for the United States State Department and that was how he knew about LokSat.

Castle went to go to the precinct to help out Kate in tracking LokSat so he hailed down a taxi. He mentioned to the driver that he needed to get to the precinct so the driver told him he would take him there and then put on a pop song via the radio. The driver was the same person who the team identified as having killed Caleb Brown and was associated with LokSat.

The taxi driver took Castle to an unknown location and strapped him down to a table. The man said that Castle was going to tell him about everyone who knew about LokSat. Castle refused so the man mentioned that he did not believe in torture but he believed in truth agents. He then slipped Castle some truth serum.

Answer: Mason Wood

Castle was in the room with the guy who abducted him and he said that LokSat would be asking him questions. Castle was then shocked to see Mason Wood in the room and he revealed himself as LokSat. Mason mentioned that the Greatest Detective Society had nothing to do with his CIA related activities.

The final scene was said to be seven years later and it showed Castle and Kate's three kids running through their home. They all sat down to have some breakfast and enjoy a good time. Castle mentioned that every writer needed an inspiration and then he smiled at Kate.
